I loved using Enchanted talisman+fleeting+magic shoes(that violet) and the rest is either defense or magic damage (depends on situation). I will try the cod+truncheon combo. But I really like the spammable skills and the first combo I mentioned can abused his passive

Here's what i learned while playing xavier in adv server: - If you're have a hard time hitting enemies with 1st skill to get a passive stack use your 2nd instead on enemies. - Make sure to get 2 Transcendence stack before fighting so that you can utilize his enhanced ult for more damage. - 2nd skill also extends his 1st skill range. - If being chased by an enemy you can put a 2nd in front of you and trigger it with 1st and it will help alot. - Use ult to mmediately go to 3rd Transcendence phase so that you can cast more abilities. - Dont hesitate to use your ult to clear minions on other lanes especially if you have Fleeting time. - He is very squishy so if enemies are mostly phy dmg just build warrior boots or dreadnought armor (its in antique quirass) and if mostly mages i recommend go Talisman build with Mystery shop so that you can rush athena with tough boots.
You can stack passive at lord and turtle I love using 2 stack only for farm, if 3 stack you'll triggered the transcendence form even before the team fight begin

Tip: When using savier always hit the lord or turtle because it gives 1 stack of transcendence. you can extend the transcendence state by hitting minions creeps and hero.

I played him a while ago and the enemies mostly have high mobility and he becomes useless. I hope they buff his skill 1 and 2 casting it's a bit slow for me. And also less cd for his skill 1.
He is very OP ...four hours ago iplayed xavier in ranked. i was grandmaster two with three stars when i played.i played five matches and I only lost once in the end i was EPIC five with one star i got mvp on three matches. Sorry for bad english and grammar
another random thing about his passive you can get full stacks by hitting lord and turtle with you skills, a standard 1 > 2 combo can get you full stacks immediately
I thought I was the only one doing the 1-2 combo. And here I was excited I'll be the first to discover it lmao, since every Xavier I fought only do 2-1. This combo is actually quite tricky since there is a delay, you can feel it when you use first skill, there is a slight pause. But I guess Elgin got this covered. As always My tip.. Don't try fighting heroes with great mobility, especially Chou. Your dead if you do

I think he is kinda broken if played with a good tank. All he needs is some good support to protect him and he is gonna do a lot in a teamfight. His skill set especially the first and second ones combined with his passive deals a ton of damage while providing a lot of ccs. He can then finish off enemies with his long-range ult. I
Xavier is a dream come true for me. I was just dreaming in this game to add a very long range mage just like on Moskov, Layla or Lux because it would be satisfying to kill hero escaping even at long distance which i can't enjoy anymore on Moskov's ult because they nerfed/revamped it, it became slower and can't penetrate to multiple enemy unless they're close to each other. Now my dream have been realized, i just got savage with this hero yet he's still hard to use to carry an allies at some point since he's just a support/mage type. This is my main now. What just bothers me with this hero is they changed his splash art/protrait and his skill's sound effects, i prefer the old ones.
same with me, his ult cd is not that long, casting ult is faster that moscov and its quite big like layla so you can literally still kill those escaping enemy even when you dont center your ult that well. he's fun to play

This hero is perfectly balanced compared to recent releases. His skills requires knowledge and timing and can deal damage if used correctly.

He is literally Moskov & Luo Yi combined, can easily -ks- secure kills from across the map with ease and spam kills like there’s no end

At lvl 4 his ult can literally drain your hp with arcane boots. It's so scary.
It also drains mana so better stick with Talisman
