Right?! I get that these guys are tying to do the whole "late night show" thing but their show would work far better as a "podcast". Right when the natural chat gets interesting the 1hr block is over, adopting a podcast format they could just keep going until the chat is over. But alas that won't happen as they work for The Blaze who just wants to put out news/late-night formatted shows.

Very good show, despite being Daveless. Been wondering though why Angie Van Halen is seated in front of various guitar amplifiers.
The family didn't write the book, and they didn't get paid for the movie except for the 14,000 that ALL of them, including Ohr, received, because the AUTHOR of the book sold the rights. Michael Ohr just has a butt ton of kids and was not financially responsible and just married another baby mama... they did the conservatorship because that takes less than a week while an adoption in TN can take from 1 to 2 years. They didn't screw the kid over. But it does go to show after Ohr and Kapernick that no good deed goes unpunished
The family should have just gotten a rescue dog. It'd have been truly grateful, instead of being scum like Ohr.
Ohr found out this year that what he thought were adoption papers that he signed at 18 were actually conservator papers giving his life away to people who didn't even adopt him.

On the AI and art topic... what a lot of people neglect to understand is the AI couldnt take over artists jobs because the AI REQUIRES input of actual art made by humans to TRAIN itself how to make art... its no different than you trying to learn to paint by studying the great artists of the past 1000 years or more. While you might have your own style you settled into over time that style has been influenced by other art you have seen and studied. The thing with AI is it can study and practive billions of times faster then we can, but it still requires actual input data to be able to do anything. It cant just pick up a paint brush and whip up some sick custom art if it has zero reference for what painter art is...

the problem we keep running into with making ai more real is that we do not understand our own brains and what makes us work, thus the best we can do is an act.

Strangest furry encounter: on a hike to a mountain lake with about 1200ft of elevation. I snapped a picture with a fair amount of WTF.
The thing is he was already 18 when they wanted to "adopt" him, you can't adopt an 18 year old so the only way they could get him into Ol Miss was to be his conservator. They made no money off the movie except what the book author split with them and Michael got a cut of that, everyone made like a couple grand from that. All their money came from selling their restaurants and the dad even laid out his financials and said "See for Yourself".

Trust me Angela, when Netflix does their own Leonard Bernstein film adaptation, Forrest Whitaker *_WILL_* have the lead 😆.
Also, as a dude with Jewish roots, I couldn't give a shit less about the prosthetic nose. It's NOT like, insultingly overt. And the picture of Bernstein they used to compare to Cooper's fake nose was pretty shitty. Most of my people get bigger noses as they age.
