I must confess I’m subscribed to your channel because I’ve found that if you adore a certain bar, I’ll probably hate it. If you don’t like a certain bar I know I’ll love it 🤣 It’s actually very helpful. For real. Every once in a while you and I both love a bar ( Silver Bells for example) when that happens I know it’s a GREAT scent for company. This was a fun concept for a video, thanks for sharing!
I LOVE spice…. Finding I am not as much a bakery fan now even though I always thought I was…… Bring on the woods!! But Fall equals spice and crisp apple
Around the Campfire is my absolute FAVORITE fall scent! I club it the end of every season. I can also say…… it is a great company scent. Everytime I am warming it and have people over I get asked what is that amazing smell
Autumn Hearth, Cedar Cider, Clove and Cinnamon, Around the campfire, give me all the spiced bars! And, yes Liz my found love of all things spice, fireside, out doors is THANKS to you. Your excitement and the twinkle in your eyes when you talk about spice scents gave me the encouragement to step out and now I am hooked. Thanks for this wonderful video. 🌻🍂🍁🍄🟫
What a great video!!! Some of these scents are favorites of mine too (Autumn Hearth?! Around the Campfire!!) and others I was nodding along like “yeahhh that checks out LOL”😂
I tried and fell in love with around the campfire last year!!! I only regret that I didn't try it years ago. I kept hearing u talk about it, so I gave it a go, and it's so amazing!!
I LOVE Scary Good - bought 12 bars and clubbed it when it retired since I didn’t think it would come back this catalog. Also love Forever Fall! Couldn’t stand Everything Nice though. I tried Maple Apple Bourbon last year thanks to you and really enjoyed it. Funny how many of my faves are on this list. My husband really likes Blueberry Cheesecake, I like it pretty well. Jammy Time was one that I couldn’t stand in the tester but everyone went on about it so I finally tried it and it’s now a favorite! This was a super fun video!! 🥰
Often peach, guava, and sometimes passionfruit can lean cat pee-ish or funky to me. But I LOVE Peach and White Amber! So it isn't always a scary scent. Cranberry Mango from a recent BBMB smelled like celery seed to my hubby. He made me take it out immediately! And frothy milk seems to be sour to us all. Thank you for this fun look at what others contributed! Smiles, Abby Smith
The only catalog scent I haven’t ever ordered is perfect peppermint. I might actually try it this year, but I know I won’t like it. I just like to try everything once. I just do not like mint…anything. I did like marshmallow mint, a lot. I love silver bells. But anything cool cold or minty I don’t tend to like it.
Great video! I absolutely love Maple Apple Bourbon. It was gifted to me and was my first Scentsy scent. I typically can’t do rose scents but there are some that have rose, like White Amber & Silk that are great. If rose is listed as a scent note, I will resist trying it almost 100% of the time. I love the spicy scents and Fall is definitely my favorite scent season. I love your videos! They are always full of information and great suggestions!❤️
I like a wide variety of fragrance categories, but I wasn’t like that years ago. I used to be very picky and now I will try almost anything. The more I went out of my comfort zone and tried different things the more I found I liked them. Although there are some things I’ve tried many times and I just can’t do which are leather, powder-most especially baby powder, overly strong and heady florals, scents that are mostly mint, very smoky, heavy musk, chocolate, and sickly sweet.
Love this video💕I also love that new warmer behind you…..Stunning!!👌🏻 I’m with you on not a lover of Weathered Leather and Blueberry Cheesecake, they both make me nauseous!!
Salted caramel toffee is also a favourite in our house. I also warm that when people come over and they always say my house smells so nice. One girl left and went home and messaged me saying that her hair smelt like caramel! I didn’t like scary good the first season it was out and then the next season I loved it and clubbed it. I also didn’t like silver bells the first time I warmed it but last season I fell for it and warmed so much of that last year. My nose must have changed
It is very funny to me because one of the main reasons I was so drawn to your channel is your love of spice ❤️🔥 😂 I do love weathered leather on occasion and for me it is a good mixer 🤠 have you tried to mix it with Christmas Cottage?
Sometimes Autumn Hearth has a vinegary smell or stinky feet smell but I enjoy it warmed. Newborn Nursery has been beautiful a couple times for me in select rooms.. Maple Apple Bourbon is good on cold but it knocks me out when I warm it and I cannot handle it. Around The Campfire is also too much for me warmed even when mixed. Cedar Cider is a love of mine for sure. Blueberry Cheesecake smells amazing in my friends house and I did like it mixed with apple - it is not terrible I think I just have to be in the mood.
What a great video Elizabeth! I gotta say, I think Around the Campfire is one of their all time best scents. I contributed to your poll of scary scents but I forgot to mention Vanilla Bean buttercream…😬 I like cookies and pastries but I’m not a big frosting scent person and I don’t think I’d love it 🤷🏻♀️ I was able to smell a tester of Hayrides and I thought it was GORGEOUS. It reminded me of Autumn Roadtrip and Golden Garland.
@@maggieb-h7u I agree with the frosting not being a favorite. I love actual cake scents but the frosting I am now using as just a mixer to lessen some really over powering scents.
Llooooovvveeee Maple Apple Bourbon & Autumn Hearth. Both clubbers for me! Autumn Hearth is definitely a top 10 for me & I've warmed it this month already lol.
I have to agree with weathered leather 🤣🤣. But wow, some of those other ones I really love!! Around the Campfire is amazing!! Mix it with Black Raspberry vanilla is beautiful too!!
I am a definite lover of Newborn Nursery- Smells like a fresh clean baby right out of the bath with lotion and powder, all wrapped up in cuddly pajamas- It is very strong and I I love that. I warm it mostly in my laundry room and bedroom. I also love Around the Campfire. Another powerhouse of a scent. Such a great mixer with so many of the fall fragrances to create amazing ambience in my home. I don’t even know how to put into words how offensive Blueberry Cheesecake is to my nose! Sour milk is all I smell. After I bravely tried to warm it after about two minutes, I had to pour it out along with the rest of the bar. Thank you for a great video! I very much agree with your reviews on many of your favorite scents. 🍁🔥🌲🏕🍎🎃
I have to say in the past I was afraid to try some of the spice bars but thanks to your enthusiasm & love of scents I was willing to give every bar a chance. And I have to say I have fallen in love with the vast majority. I find if something is a little strong I will try it in a mini warmer as a background scent, mix it or just do 1 warmer with a strong scent & do something that compliments it in the other warmers. If it still offends me I will melt it in the garage or just give it away. Lately I have been giving some dislikes a 2nd chance & find I'm coming around to them. Over time I think our scent preferences can change because I couldn't do tree scents but now I love them. But, I CANNOT do newborn nursery or clothesline no matter how many times I try them. Way too strong for me. Im a Louisiana girl & Im a weathered leather fan but I can't do it full strength. I have to chip it & use it as a mixer. Sorry not sorry 😂
Mystery Man is definitely cologne-ish. But my 11 year old son warms it in his room a lot. I think it's perfect for a Tween-Teenager. I also love Cinnamon Bear.
I must say our taste, especially in spice, run parallel. I have watched you for years. I find that 98% of spice likes are 🎯 with my prefrences. So I am confident to order your recommendations. Btw I mix give me candy with pumpkin chai ( no longer available) amazing. It dilutes some of the sweetness of GMC. Also totally agree on Around the Campfire. The name can invoke your imagination to a totally different smokey scent. Thanks for all your videos!
I loved this video ! Very unique and helpful! ! Rose and patchouli annd newborn nursery are a no go for me! I just can’t try them! I did try maple apple bourbon, and could not stand. I have to give it away. I also gave away cinnamon bear that was many years old, and it was still so strong! Clove and cinnamon is in my giveaway pile too! I am willing to try around the campfire and use maybe a half a cube and mix it with something. Just because many of the reviews are so good on it. It took me a long time to try Cedar cider and cider Mill not because I didn’t want to, but because there were so many other scents that appealed to me more. But I finally tried them and now I club them every year because they are amazing!
@@terri6537 def try around the campfire by itself in a larger room. It is strong but not a headache inducing scent. And it changes over curing time. The longer it cures it starts to lose the smoke smell. I use one cube in my open concept and it fills the room. If it seems to strong then add something to it to see how it changes it.
@@terri6537 honestly you can mix it with anything sweet to add a cozy warm feel. Something sweet like Gimmie candy. Cinnamon scents do so well with it. (Christmas cottage ) Baked apple pie! The sky is the limit!
Fun video 😊!!! I’m a spice lover too ❤. Cinnamon Bear, Cinnamon Clove and Autumn Hearth are all fantastic! However, I also love Blueberry Cheesecake 😂so there’s that.
Love your videos! I have been watching your channel for a couple years and they are so wonderful. The only bar I haven't tried is Around the Campfire. I will be trying it this fall. White Pumpkin and Driftwood, Weathered Leather, Polar Bear Hug and Blueberry Cheesecake are not for me. While I love eating blueberry cheesecake I can't warm it in my house. Polar bear hug seems so pretty until i warm it and the amber scent radiates. Not all scents with amber are off putting to me but many are. This makes me hesitant to buy a bar with any amber in the scent notes. Also, I am one of those Newborn Nursery wax buyers. It reminds me of my childhood and that of my daughters'. Also Thank you for all these videos!
I did Weathered Leather when my Dad was living so he had a manly scent, but when he passed away I only used it when my male cousins come but no other time 🤷♀️
I’m gonna ‘branch’ out and try tree scents this year. They’ve just never been appealing to me but I’m coming around. I LOVE around the campfire mixed with white pumpkin and driftwood! Alternate warmers. I actually like the white peach and cranberry. Seems better suited for a hot day though. I can’t stand blueberry cheesecake. All I can smell is sour milk. Loved your long video! 🤗
I really like around the campfire! Maple apple bourbon is the only scent my oldest daughter has ever complimented on. Some scents are just so spicy but I will be brave this season 👍 I do have a brick of vanilla bean buttercream (hubby favourite) if I need
You’ve inspired me! I’m going to order a bar of autumn hearth in my September 1st order ..was going to go for apple dnd cinnamon sticks but going to switch it out…I need to branch out and try something I’ve never tried before. This is a great video idea! Thank you for doing this
I found this video very interesting and helpful! The one I gave another try to last year was Autumn Hearth. I love this one now. It smells like fall to me. I love maple apple bourbon, cozy cardigan, and weathered leather. I do not care for blueberry cheesecake, autumn sunset, welcome home, blue grotto, cranapple crumble, clean breeze, clothesline, and jammy time. I actually love clove and cinnamon. Its great on its own and I love to mix it with other scents. I plan on taking some of your ideas to try to give other bars a chance. It will hard though for me with jammy time. I just don't like it. It smells like black pepper to me.
Newborn Nursery is one of my favourites as it goes next to the kitty litter and does a great job helping that corner smell nice lol. I also hate Blueberry Cheesecake as it smells sour to me.
I love this concept 😂 👻 So fun that your top 5 are your favorites. I just talked about autumn hearth in my part 2 of my club edit. I love that bar. I love it more than cider mill. I said it 😂. I also showed maple apple bourbon some love in my club edit too. It’s a kitchen melt for me. I do like spice and woods and deep rich tones. I have a friend who weathered leather reminds her of her dad’s work boots. So she drops a cube in her entry way. ❤Scent memory is a beautiful thing even with bars like weathered leather. 🙌
Solidarity to your daughter in her dislike of cheesecake 🤣 Nothing worse than being in a social situation and dessert rolls out and it’s cheesecake and you’ve gotta pretend to be jazzed about it 😬😂
I’m not sure if I really know what pumpkin smells like….. I think I pick the ones with spice with it and all I pick up is the spice. I am pretty sure I loved Forever fall Did not feel like 45 min!! Such a fun video! Edited to say….. I was agreeing with you and shaking my head the entire time! Aside from your love of bakery….. my nose loves the same bars your nose does LOL
Autumn Hearth is amazing and beautiful i cant believe its in the top 5. I personally dont care for apple and Cinnamon sticks and surprised it didnt make the list at all. You already know i love clove and cinnamon i also love autumn sunset and cinnamon bear. I do need to try Mystery Man i think my older daughter will like it even if i dont like it but i do like the smell of it in the tester. I also want to try Maple Apple Bourbon and cedar cider. I find Just breath to be relaxing. Mochadoodle has been on my to try list but some how it always ends up getting bumped for something else but after your review im going to have to actually try. Scary Good is a yummy carrot cake. Silver Bells is beautiful in the clam but when i warmed it i couldnt even smell it i was extremely sad and disappointed. I have found the chestnut scents trigger a migraine for me. I love mint scents as long as its not spearmint the smell (and taste) makes me sick.
There are very few scents that I am afraid to order but I have never ordered weathered leather, newborn nursery, autumn sunset, and around the campfire. Cedar cider is ok, clove and cinnamon is good, and I don’t really care for maple apple bourbon. I really enjoy autumn hearth. I hate scary good. I ordered cinnamon bear for the first time last year and then I clubbed it I was so surprised. It mixes perfectly with toasted apple butter.
I liked Amber Hollow too but I burned myself out on it. I can think of retired scents I will never repurchase: Christmas Cactus and Cranberry and Tinsel. Siberian fir as a scent note gives me the ick. I will never repurchase Christmas Cuddles, Ghostly Greetings, and a few others that don't immediately come to mind.

So Silver bells has a odd description like pear and candy cane does not go together but Silver bells is amazing, It's my favorite Christmas scent, for me it gives me so much nostalgia, it's not christmas without Silver bells Blueberry cheesecake is my all time favorite scent I don't get the sour milk note, I also love weather leather but I love the hometown cowboy better, I become offensive to Clean breeze and clothes line, but I love when my laundry room smells like tide. I hope you have a great day and thanks for this fun video
Great video my friend! I’ll have to give Autumn Hearth another go. It smelled Ike stinky feet the couple of times I’ve warmed it but it’s been a few years. I love spice, I love woods. I like most of the ‘scary’ scents on your list. But there are some I’m not a fan off. Don’t like most laundry scents except in laundry or sometimes scent paks for my out-of-the-way closets. I don’t care for Weathered Leather & BB Cheesecake can be off-putting sometimes I have to be in the mood. Honestly though I get tired of “fruity” scents especially by the end of summer. Thankfully most of the F/W fruity scents are more interesting. I have the 10 new releases I just haven’t warmed them yet. I’m planning on doing that soon I’m jumping back onto RUclips in coming weeks & will share my thoughts on those. Only a couple were questionable on cold. Of course for me Cedar Cider, Maple Apple Bourbon, Around the Campfire & Salted Caramel Toffee are absolute favs!
Great video! If budget and storage space weren’t considerations, I would be more adventurous. But I try to focus on bars that really fit in my scent wheelhouse. That’s why I enjoy watching reviews. Especially for Scentsy since they like to hide florals, dewy greens, etc. where you least expect it and not include them in the notes. Is the maple in Maple Apple Bourbon maple syrup or maple tree? That one intrigues me but I’m iffy on apple and tree even though I like maple (🇨🇦).
Cannot do sweet pea , guava, juniper or smoke. I usually like a lot of “scary” notes like spice, mint & laundry. From your scary list I love Cinnamon Bear, Autumn Hearth (I don’t get smoke), Autumn Sunset, Cozy Cardigan, Silver Bells & Maple Apple Bourbon.
I bought a bar of cedar cider, maple apple bourbon and autumn hearth last year to try. I did not like cedar cider at all it smelt like a musky cedar chest. Maple apple bourbon was also gross to me but I am starting to realize that I don’t like the bourbon oil as I didn’t like spiced and spirited or vanilla bourbon. Autumn hearth I haven’t warmed yet it’s just been sitting there which I will try this fall
I bought new born nursery pods for my daughters bedroom when she was a baby and it took over my whole house and when people walked in my house they covered their nose with their shirts asking me what that smell was….took those pods out and they will probably go in the trash
Cedar Cider gives off such a weird note for me....mildew/moldy basement. I warmed it in my room and woke up from a dead sleep because i was dreaming about smelling mold. I thought my basement flooded but it was just Cedar Cider 😂😂😂
I get blueberry muffins from Blueberry Cheesecake. Like the old school box of muffin mix where the berries didn’t seem real 🤣 I don’t dislike the scent by any means but I didn’t love it and wouldn’t purchase it again.
I’m not sure if I really know what pumpkin smells like….. I think I pick the ones with spice with it and all I pick up is the spice. I am pretty sure I loved Forever fall
(Jane) I can't do Clean Breeze or Clothesline either. My scary scent is honey. I love peppermint and tree. The controversial scent that I actually like is Ratatouille: bon Appetit.
I can’t do any coffee and patchouli is a big no for me as well. Also, anything too floral or cologne and Cherry can be pretty iffy but other than that I can do most things. I love tree scents, so I always gasp when people hate them.
I don’t want to over-generalize, but they buy it in quantity it if the postal address has the big TX … 🤣!!!! I appreciate that u don’t like it though. 💕
Agree about Cinnamon Bear! It’s not nearly as overpowering on warm as you might expect it to be! It’s actually quite mellow!
Yes… it’s well done so it’s not truly obnoxious.

You’ve inspired me! I’m going to order a bar of autumn hearth in my September 1st order ..was going to go for apple dnd cinnamon sticks but going to switch it out…I need to branch out and try something I’ve never tried before. This is a great video idea! Thank you for doing this
Think I’ll also grab a bar of autumn sunset too ..
Everyone has scents that just don’t work for them… but there are so many to try that might! 😊
Great comment, thank u!
I've got to wonder if a lot of weather leather lovers is because of scent memories and not necessarily a love for the scent itself.
Solidarity to your daughter in her dislike of cheesecake 🤣
Nothing worse than being in a social situation and dessert rolls out and it’s cheesecake and you’ve gotta pretend to be jazzed about it 😬😂
Too funny!!! I’ll let Abbey know Robyn. 🤗🥰
I’m not sure if I really know what pumpkin smells like….. I think I pick the ones with spice with it and all I pick up is the spice.
I am pretty sure I loved Forever fall
Did not feel like 45 min!! Such a fun video!
Edited to say….. I was agreeing with you and shaking my head the entire time! Aside from your love of bakery….. my nose loves the same bars your nose does LOL
💕💕💕
💕
There are very few scents that I am afraid to order but I have never ordered weathered leather, newborn nursery, autumn sunset, and around the campfire. Cedar cider is ok, clove and cinnamon is good, and I don’t really care for maple apple bourbon. I really enjoy autumn hearth. I hate scary good. I ordered cinnamon bear for the first time last year and then I clubbed it I was so surprised. It mixes perfectly with toasted apple butter.
💕💕💕🙏🏻
I liked Amber Hollow too but I burned myself out on it. I can think of retired scents I will never repurchase: Christmas Cactus and Cranberry and Tinsel. Siberian fir as a scent note gives me the ick. I will never repurchase Christmas Cuddles, Ghostly Greetings, and a few others that don't immediately come to mind.

U absolutely need to order Around the campfire!!!! Its amazing!!! So beautiful!
Silver Bells is my absolute favorite!!!
Silver bells and the famous bonfire beach coming to r2 i will definitely pick up a bar of both to try!
Oh yay!!!!! I think you will be so happy!!!
Bonfire Beach is awesome.
💕💕💕
Hi Linda!!!!! Miss u!
I’m SO happy to hear u are re-launching your channel! 💕💕💕it’s not been the same without u.
It’s syrup
@@elizabethsscenesscents Thanks, Elizabeth. I think I will try it this fall!
❤️❤️❤️
I’m not “scarred” of cedar but allergic to it. So I have to be careful checking the notes on anything I buy
The apple spice bar from harvest collection might be good i dislike spice Patricia said its a fruity spice so will try
Interesting to me the fear of Cinnamon Bear and Clove and Cinnamon because they are the favorite of two of my friends.
The spicer the better for me.
You may just not be able to do that maple / oak/ deep woodsy mixture type sent profile.
I bought new born nursery pods for my daughters bedroom when she was a baby and it took over my whole house and when people walked in my house they covered their nose with their shirts asking me what that smell was….took those pods out and they will probably go in the trash
🤣
Cedar Cider gives off such a weird note for me....mildew/moldy basement. I warmed it in my room and woke up from a dead sleep because i was dreaming about smelling mold. I thought my basement flooded but it was just Cedar Cider 😂😂😂
Well… I guess that one’s not for you! 🤣
Yes to me it smells like a musty cabin in Wisconsin!
I used Newborn Nursery in my babys room all the time!!!!
I have not had the courage to melt the tomato bar yet!
@@elizabethsscenesscents Haha! It's definitely a unique scent.
People didn’t like cozy cardigan? I love that and I like it a bit more than cashmere and corduroy
I very much dislike Cozy Cardigan, but I find Cashmere and Corduroy to be much nicer!
Weathered leather is the one scent that I do not like.
I can’t do any coffee and patchouli is a big no for me as well. Also, anything too floral or cologne and Cherry can be pretty iffy but other than that I can do most things. I love tree scents, so I always gasp when people hate them.
🌲💕
Blueberry Cheesecake is awful. I get sour milk, too. My 9 year old said it smelled like wet paint and milk combined.
So I love midnight fig, buzz worthy, ghostly greeting. But hated dark and devious. To me it smells like soup.
I’m with you on D & D!
Viewers love the long videos!
True… 🤗🥰
Texans love Weathered Leather?? Not me. 😂
I don’t want to over-generalize, but they buy it in quantity it if the postal address has the big TX … 🤣!!!! I appreciate that u don’t like it though. 💕
I’m usually behind but better today!
