We just purchased a lake home in Wisconsin with almost same floor plan (1973) and same wallpaper. I’m guessing the same builder. Thanks for sharing your progress.
Put stairs in
Nice spot y’all…. However, I do miss your RV’n videos. Can you tell I’m from the south! Lol. Good thing you have that basement apartment so you have a place to stay while renovating the upstairs. I just renovated 8 properties in 4 years so my suggestion would be to gut the upstairs to the studs. I promise you’ll be happy you started with a clean slate! It makes the whole process (wall configurations, better insulation, wiring, plumbing changes, etc) much easier. Good luck and happy holidays!!
Definitely put more windows looking out to the lake
That house will probably be worth a small fortune once renovations are done. A great long term investment.
We sure hope so! Thanks so much for watching and commenting :)
6:52 - use the < > keys to advance / reverse one frame at a time... a shadow the size of a small cat moves across the tile floor at the edge of the hallway...
I actually found your channel as I was searching for half Dome hiking videos...
It seems like you guys have a lot of interesting content, and as such, you have earned a new subscriber!! Happy 2024 to you both🎉
Thank you so much! Love hearing that. Thanks for being here!
If you are going to patch the damage to the walls... if drywall is damaged to the brown paper or deeper - you need to use a sealer on those areas - 3 to 4 coats before you patch or paint... or those areas will bubble once paint is applied.
Thanks for Sharing! I used to Live next to a Lake Near Ely, Minnesota a Few Years Back, Great Experience, Beautiful Country! 👍😃
Thanks for watching! Ely (and far northern MN in general) is one of the most beautiful places! We’re farther south but still feel lucky to have a little spot on a lake
It amazing!! Congrats 🎉
Love the house. Tons of potential! Cant wait to see the renovations
Love the potential of your new home! I know you will do wonders with it, and I can't wait. Lovely to have the lake, such a huge plus.
Thanks so much!
Most people just see a lot of work, which it will be, but waterfront property will always be in demand and after you guys get done with it, it'll make a nice home base when you guys start getting back into the RV scene. Really looking forward to what you guys will do with your new house!!
Thanks so much! I felt if we were going to invest in property in the current market, it needed to be on water. I didn’t mention this in the video but we’re hoping to have a designated RV spot in the driveway!
What a beautiful choice in both house and location! Looking forward to watching you transform it to your style. Great ideas. (Loving that shirt btw!)
Thank you so much! We feel like we can turn it into something pretty great
did Cole wear his hat backwards???? hubba hubba
Subscribed because of the trailer renovation and the RV traveling. That is gone now. Wish you all the best. Bye.
Hope you find your way back for the next RV renovation!
Probably will. :)@@WorkinfortheWild
Suck it with a belt on, Mr
Love it, so much potential (and work). Do you need flood insurance cuz of the lake?
Thank you! Yes, definitely a lot of work! No, we don’t need flood insurance actually. There’s almost no risk of the lake rising to a level that would ever come close to the house.
you get a hair cut? flames
What lake?!?
