Besides donating and helping that way there are also other ways in which you can greatly help. Any time you go for a walk or walk your dog, bring a bag and a glove. Any time you go grocery shopping look for products that use no or less plastic. Any time you see someone littering, say something about it in a nice way.

I really appreciate that Mark took the time to explain how these impoverished communities are not to be judged for their contributions to the pollution, but need help in enabling them to be able to contribute to the solution.
Yeah that was a very important part of the video too. We need people to realise that SUPPORT is better than punishment if we want lasting solutions.

While i agree with this comment, i think the responsibility should fall on the local government to enforce litter abatement AND an educational PSA/ campaign informing people
They are still ultimately the ones causing the pollution and doing very little to improve the situation. Personal accountability exists for everyone.

Don’t get me wrong, seeing Mr Beast and his crew doing this is absolutely incredible, but the rivers and sources of these problems often get overshadowed even though they’re just as important. It means a lot to see you doing this, Mark!
It reminds me of the tree planting thing. In an odd way, donating $1 to plant a tree makes people too satisfied in feeling like they made a big difference. (Not hating on tree planting or beach cleanup volunteers, they’re super awesome). But these problems run much deeper.
Yeah, I am glad that they help spreading the message of the plastic pollution. Having seen the cleanup robot a while ago was inspiring, but now more people actually see them at work.
Yeah, I do appreciate that they went to investigate the root causes and how that can be addressed rather than just focusing on the cleanup itself

Нет. Наоборот не обложение налогами производителей, а освобождение от всех налогов переработчиков мусора. Мусор это товар.
Всё дело в воспитании и выгоде. Поставь условным африканцам мусорные баки, они так же будут кидать в реку. И так же пока выгодно производить пластик, он будет загрязнять планету, правда не только пластик делает хуже, а в целом всё что "выгодно", причина всех бед кроется куда глубже чем "отсутствие" мусоровоза или баков

Все инициативы хороши 👍 и кстати, часто слышу, что мы сами виноваты, покупая пластик. Мы покупаем, потому что так дешевле, а производители под нас подстраиваются всего лишь.

>>мусоровозы и баки + система вывоза для тех мест, что самые загрязняющие (в России тоже нужно в деревнях систему строить, ибо в городах мусор вывозят, а вот деревнями никто особо не занимается)
>> налог на пластиковую упаковку
>> убрать налоги для мусороуборочных и перерабатывающих фирм ( а вот за сжигателями следить, за ними контроль нужен)
>>распространять и популяризировать эту тему. Сохранность природы - должно быть приоритетом для всего человечества!

Team trees really has not done that much considering about 75 million trees are cut down each MONTH we have not even stopped half that.
