STEEL Thyself for the Switch version of Operation STEEL! Not sure what exact time the game will be available but it's releasing today (June 20th). Enjoy the video, and thanks for watching!

I have clears of every route and nearly every weapon type and can easily recommend this game. The score attack and boss rush modes are also tons of fun and it has progressively more difficult hard modes that unlock each type you clear it. The "one more run" factor of this game is just off the charts.

I can see why. The action in this is very inspiring. I'm eager to continue digging into this. I did a normal mode clear before putting this review together and have been enjoying hard mode since then but there are still a lot of stages I haven't seen and I haven't dipped into boss rush or anything else yet. Thanks for checking this out, Chino!

Yooo, thanks for the rundown/review and the feedback! I'm glad you're enjoying the game...
ps. there is a secret 6th level that you may not have seen yet too :)

No worries, man! I was wondering if there was a hidden stage or tlb tucked away somewhere. I have a feeling the last piece of the star map may pave the way to something. Thanks again!

Really like the clean look of this one. Also, me trading my Switch towards a Xbox Series X turns out to be a friggin HUGE mistake!

It's one of a few that inspires me to play different routes, so I'm pleased to have this one on hand. Perhaps you can snag another Switch at some point!

OH NO!!! The Switch has tons of shmups and so many other indie games. It's my go to this gen. Having the Switch and the PS4 and you're set with having some of the best shmup library you can dream of. Hopefully you can snag another one soon.

Hey, Sinister. Thanks for checking this out and dropping a comment. I appreciate the support and am happy you enjoyed the video. OS is definitely a fun one and even after clearing it, it inspires doing additional routes.

@@Shmuptopia Currently I'm working on All Routes, All Difficulties myself and as of right now, currently got a few cleared for Normal and once the normal routes are done, then I'm working on Hard 1
This is going to be a massive undertaking and personally, I'm excited when I have to edit more of it.
for now though, taking a break because summer and work, but I might get a video up today.

Thanks for posting this for us Dace. Having guys like M2, LiveWire and so many other top-tier shmups is a double edged sword. We have been getting the best of the best in recent times, but it also makes me extra picky on what I buy. Also, the all-important not having as much time as an adult thing. Alas, this one looks solid, and probably one I'd watch a gameplay of, but not something I'd wanna play myself. Thanks again.

Wow! This game is fantastic, I ripped it apart after all these days of Devil Engine lol. But what a brilliant, beautiful game and the fun factor is through the roof! So many nods to the classics here . The fire stage in particular, I tthink it’s called Furiosa, I got instant flashbacks to Lifeforces fire stage and the flame arches jumping by every couple seconds, awesome stuff. I love all the different items but the one I stuck with entire time was the stopwatch which alllws you to slow time down, ton of fun using that. This game is currently on sale as well atm for just 8$! Had some points to redeem and got it for 6. Just 1ccd it on normal but still have a lot of stages need to try and excited to see them, pure eye candy this game, love it and def recommend it

All over this! Looks great, going to buy today. Only thing is, is there no option to turn a hit box on?

It's a blast! Check the accessibility options for the hitbox change. Enjoy when you jump in!

There should be an option to display your hitbox, I think it might be under the accessibility options.

Ahh great, I really need to see my hit box in these games, thanks guys and big thanks for bringing this one to my attention shmuptopia I would have not even known about it otherwise. Looks like the perfect thing to get into after devil Engine. I found a new one releasing in September for switch called Risk System, it looks fantastic, have it preordered

Yeah, the Risk System physical is coming out but if you want to get it in Switch before then, it's available. There might even be a sale at some point. I did a full game analysis of RS a couple of years ago. It's an insanely cool game and extraordinarily underappreciated - likely because it uses inertia. I love it though. @@mikeward5192
