The burnt out is walking at an immense speed into the game. The constant fusions, hero path and soul chasing tournaments are making it more a job than an enjoyment....Plarium should decrease the frequency and amount of ressource grabbing events...
Easy solution, but they'll never do it.
It doesn't benefit them at all to slow down. Really the only one is benefits are ftpers.
Fomo is real, play to your enjoyment not theirs
Nobody HAS to do everything. Just reject the fomo and stop doing them for awhile and you'll enjoy the game much more, and at your own pace. YOU have a choice, Paylarium are out to make money every day of the week, every week of the year, so they don't care what individuals do, or don't do. They want it all, all of the time. It's up to YOU to say NO THANK YOU! I'll do it MY way, NOT YOURS! Take a chill pill and ignore it all, until you are ready to dive in, and slow down again when you start feeling the burn. Regulate yourself, don't ever expect Paylarium to hold your hand and make your decisions, because they'll decide you must play 24/7. Take control and don't be their sheep.
@Dharin. all businesses are out to make money. But I agree with you 100%. Any company would love for you to spend money. You think the nfl,or NBA don't want to sell out every stadium. I think it's less to do with plarium them people wanting to do everything or get everything. Do what you want to your enjoyment. Everything in moderation
The burnout is real! 2 days on, and I'm still recovering. Kropcio did put up the highest CC score overall. He, Drock, and I were battling right to the end. Thanks so much for putting on this challenge! Easily the BEST F2P event the community has EVER seen!

100% respect to you, HH, and all the other CCs for once again participating in this F2P event ... thereby keeping in touch with the non-Whales/Krakens who live the grind every day. I agree that (regular) Arena is a very challenging experience - no matter what your level - but I think Tag Team Arena is the area in most need of attention. I have been playing for a year ... and have levelled my account up to 98 ... but I cannot move forward on the Romantu missions because I can't get past Silver 2. My understanding is that each level represents a set number of players in a tier ... rather than a PERCENTAGE of the overall player base ... meaning the longer the game is in existence ... the fewer newbies can break into the upper tiers. I have three decent teams of four ... and I'm getting absolutely pasted in Silver 2. What is particularly frustrating is that the missions past where I'm stuck are all easy peasy - missions I was able to complete six months ago! TT Arena is broken ... and if you can do anything to share this feedback with Plarium, that would be tremendous. Finally, you do brilliant work on RSL ... and I can't wait to start playing Fateless's first game!

maybe the next time you want to do a f2p challenge you could like make a team with a couple CC and you share the account to prevent this burn out in the challenge
in the sense that you only play the account for one out of however many people you have in the team days and the progress of the account is tracked over multiple different channels for people to still have a video every day but the CC get more rest between their videos and then there is the challenge part of having to work together to play this one F2P account
I ended up #29 overall and was pretty pleased with my accomplishments. Thanks for the opportunity to try something new.
i feel like free to play series stay interesting/engaging for very little time. about 1 month in is where it becomes the regular grind and any excitement falls off. in the future i would like it if you did something different like a series based on factions or trying to push hydra etc. F2P series have been overdone so many times that its the same old stuff

I agree. I'd like the next f2p series to be started at least at midgame, particularly I'd like to know how far they can go in 3v3 arena.

talking about arena being a slog, it's the one thing about this game that will cause me to stop playing, generally for a few weeks. my main account is stuck on the 'reach silver 2 tag arena' mission for well over a year, and i'm not bothered to try anymore. it's just to gdam frustrating to not only make it into silver, but to stay in it for one effin week! i'm sure by now i've got the champs to try to push for silver 2, but i've been playing this for so long and been irritated with arena for so long that i'm just not going to try
Look how tasty that 90 day page is. 2 voids, a sacred, an aincent, 2 Lego books. This is better than what we get at the end of the rewards. Raid. Give us this set up at the endgame.

I find the best thing is not caring about having to have all the latest champions.
I still play quite a lot, daily logins at the elast, but Ive not completed any fusion in a long time. Feel good to not care about must having them, regardless if they OP or some shit.

Just to touch on your UNM team: I ran Sepulchre and Skullcrusher for over a year. If you put Sep as lead and SK as #2, Sep block damage actually directs to SK. I thought it might help in keeping your Trumborr alive.
It’s important to remember that it’s just a game. Obviously, it’s also work for CCs, but even so it’s still a game. If it isn’t fun, don’t play it. If people need a break, or even to walk away entirely, then that’s OK.
Obviously he got pretty lucky with Geo but I still think it's quite fitting that Deadwoodjedi had far and away the best CB team with a brand new speed tune 😅
Hell Hades, I have Eostrid waiting to be summoned which I did not expect given my shard count at the start. I was WRONG! I had a lucky number of epics in the Champion Chase from just pulling Ancients and finished off with mystery shards. I saved my sole sacred, my mythicals and voids intending to keep them if at all possible. Doing the events and pushing meant I picked up a couple of voids and mythicals along the way. That meant I could do Summon Rush using just the sacred, mythicals & voids and
I feel the solution for the roadblocks for the arbiter missions concerning Arena is that Plarium changes the bronze, silver and gold medals we earn into one single type of medal and only change the amount we earn per rankl tier, that way, players in silver and below can progress in these missions, but also it won't hinder the Great Hall progress.
Best series so far. I'm already looking forward to next year's challenge. 3 months is about the right length, it's just been a hectic start to the year with Paylarium deciding that we must have either a fusion or Titan event running constantly, and for you (@HH) you have Fateless now too. Perhaps next year don't allow fusions to be a part of the challenge. That way you can all do those on your main, and you won't be struggling to do it on the challenge account too, so you can go about doing both far easier with less chance of burnout. Just a sugestion.
I think while it's technically feasible for new f2p accounts to complete fusions, the best word of advice would be to avoid it unless it's an absolute busted champ. I remember getting super burnt out after I did the Gnut fusion when I was around 30 days in on my f2p account. I think its just way too demanding of time and mentally taxing. Great job running the 2024 challenge HH crew! It was fun to watch and participate (although I did fall off around the 1 month mark).
I agree 1000% that arena kills any run or hype for end-game content. Look, i get Raid is more of a PvP gacha but having to reach 3 lvl 10 arena bonuses is brutal, it killed my hype for any end game arena stuff till i passively built up a good pvp team in dungeons and CB and grind through arena. Any f2p running into that quest would prob quit cause of the nonstop grind, refreshing arena battles and trying to stay in G1-G4 with minimal rewards of medals. I think raid needs a 1-2x medal weekend where players earn more medals during a certain time to incentivize players to grind out arena and actually feel like they're making progress.
I'm glad you mentioned the arena blocking missions, I have surrendered on tag team arena as I just can't get anywhere near silver 3.
I’ve been burnt out and passively playing raid for about five months now. It’s just too much.. recently yeeted what shards I had and got my first Rotos after 4 years of playing. My pull luck across the years has been so bad and I just feel done with the game as a whole.
This event was super tough, also seemed to coincide with the busiest my RL has been in months I just couldnt commit as much time as I wanted plus I had no champs to progress my dungeons with until few weeks. Congrats to the winners.
Was good to have you on the team! Hopefully IRL chills out, and who knows, maybe we can have a reunion get together? haha
Really enjoyed the series. I really wish Plarium would realize that the massive spike in difficulty of the fusions is drastically reducing the enjoyment of the game. The dungeon diver points etc . Players trying to play the game efficiently get burnt out and don’t really have the energy to push areas they could and might enjoy. Honestly the grind has gotten out of control and I am sure many players like myself are questioning their commitment to continue.
TheJaregg is easily the best epic ally protector he naturally has strong defense and hp stats. He also does 50% attack down,50% ally protection, and 60% increase defense. He is also a pretty good healer. I think he's the best not because he can deal a decent amount of damage but because he keeps everyone alive better than any other epic or lower rarity champion except for Miscreated monster who does better at waves and makes sure you get to the boss with enough health in the process.

Totally agree with you I'm struggling with the arbitar missions because of arena I didn't push at the start of my account and it's caught up with me now
i’ve been stuck at ascending a Magical champ to 6 stars i’ve been trying to wait to pull a Magical Legendary bc i have limited resources to upgrade . but after that ik ima have trouble with reaching the UNM CB damage requirements smh i’m so close but still so far from getting Arbiter
If Plarium isn't going to increase the rates of acquiring ancients, voids, sacreds, etc then they will need to increase the odds for shard pulls significantly to outweigh the massive lineup of champs in the lineup.
It was fun to watch. All that work/knowledge and all these teams are way ahead of me (after 18 months) in most of the content. I believe it is all about the knowledge and skill and I remain Clueless.
Yea mate i can really understand that struggle for the free to play accounts,i myself still dont want to do videos on that cause there are many many things happening on raid right now and it can really burn you out when you are doing multiple accounts!Anyway it was fun for sure!

I agree with Kostaslitsis...i would love to see yall CCs do a bunch of different challenges. Like only using certain combos of factions, affinities, character types etc....like Cursed City but throughout the rest of the game as well..or maybe like Ash does his max and use any 5 I summon series...maybe each of u pull a certain nunber of shards and u see how far you can those champs
I saw YST's video, it is insane what he has on his free to play, there are some legendaries he pulled that he had to vault, including a dutchess. I have a dutchess, she is insane.
I managed to get UNM on a 2-key farm a month ago and it has been with the traditional ally protector killable team! Looking forward to see what you can pull out - Sepulcher and Sniktraak have been my personal gamechangers :)
i feel like plarium's fusion structure should be a pattern of a general overall good champ that is a 'must-get' like a pythion/gnut...etc...then the next champ be more of a specialized champ for 1-2 areas of the game where maybe only collectors and people that are struggling in that specific area could use that fusion's help. that could help with the burnout from FOMO if they put too many good 'godlike' fusions b2b2b lol. just a suggestion though, I'm sure they make money but I'm sure they want to make MORE money lol
Was a good competition and was fun to get updates from CC"s from time-to-time on their progress. Can't wait for the next F2P challenge or any other type of CC event.
edit: Maybe next F2P or just a next challenge could be, 1st to 'Insert-Milestone-Here' so no time limit just who makes it to UNM or NM Hydra, gold I 3v3 or 1st to Hard Mode 10
And if you do teams again...maybe each team member has to only focus on specializing one game-feature to earn points, so highest team member's arena vs others highest team member's arena, CB, Hydra, FW ... etc

Overall, is Kael. Elhain is good for raw damage, Athel brings a small amount of utility and Galek is kinda…. Meh… but you can get them from shards so pick whichever one you like most.
I have trumborr too and wamt to use him for clan boss. Can you maybe make a guide on him if you build and use him? Cheers
These competitions are always first and foremost for fun and to make fun content, you taking a break when you felt like you need it is the best decision you could make and I'm glad you didn't seek to push yourself through it and risk a much bigger burnout from the game as a whole. And it was still a great run but competition or not it can never be a priority over stuff like health or your own enjoyment. 3 months might be a bit much to go that hard so consistently but with how the game is you can't do much less without it just being an early game rush to reach the mid game as F2P.

Started about 50 days ago ftp and played hard, got armanz and soul, getting this new fusion and also getting burnt out so probably going to take a break. Takes a lot of preparing / calculating for a new ftp account. Was it worth it? Definitely not, but it's a new silly accomplishment to add to the list if you want to call it that, lol.

Arena: middle of gold V
Tt arena: bronze 2
Clan boss: 1 key hard / 2 key brutal / 5 key nightmare
Doom tower: very close to completing the rotation
Cursed city: not far, couple bosses killed then stuck
Arbiter: 75% done
Faction wars: avg 20-30 per keep
Haven't pushed dungeon much:
Keeps: 20 all
Mino: 15 w/ 1 champ
Fire knight: 20
Dragon: 20
Ice golem: 16
Spider: 10
Three 6 star champs
Major limitation energy/gold. Since I can't really swap armor much, lots of good pieces scattered on useless faction wars teams, lol. Waiting to regear for a free gear removal then optimize for clan boss.
I just got to nightmare cb last chest is a 3 key because of your ftp videos. I got gwyndolin as my mastery carrier because she can solo stage 15. So that helps with getting masteries for other characters faster. My biggest issue is making 6 stars and not having a block damage or unkillable champs for cb. I'm hoping I can get to a 2 key nightmare soon.
Think they should filter out every who's power level is more than 10k power above your Arena team that way the process of finding opponents you know you can beat becomes easier.
Did you try AFKJourney? Very fun game and will make you forget about raid for a while

Plain and simple ... the game just takes up too much time, Regardless if you use RSL Helper / Bluestacks or whatever. Having the game up literally 2-3 hours manual and another 8+ hours on auto farm is just too much. No 'game' should feel like a job.
I'd like one more final rap of video where you somehow get all of the participants who stay through to the end as part of it

I think that the fact that this was a "competition" as you stated, but there was no rewards, I feel like that is one of the reason a lot of people dropped out midway. If something is a competition, some sort of reward would be nice ..IMO
Juliana is my first hp burner, but when i pulled Sicia and get all fragments of Drex she was replaced by Drextar, but she made her role perfectly.
Thanks for sharing this. I'm afraid to look myself in the mirror, might look just like you on the vid cover img (no disrespect but not the look I'm going for 😂🤭) after doing this fusion. It shouldn't be like that, not the game experience one would expect (not even job exp, now that I'm thinking, if job made me feel like this I'd resign 🤔). Plarium could make it just a bit more accessible (tiny lil bit, drop fragments few slots lower or smthng). Arena is a massive hustle, mind the Arbitrer missions, Ramantu & tag team arena is a proper hell. I wonder how many new players actually stick w/the game. In ways what content creators are doing might be the best part/forte of RSL.

Have you ever played with a timer? Maybe a challenge where you can only play for 2 hours a day? Avoid the burnout a little bit and see how far you can go. Or just play untill you get the arena refill. I only woder because thats about all the time i can manage on a work day.
Next year you should do you can only use your first 2 lego you pulled

We all know that this community can problem solve through any dungeon, and that they can GRIND progress out strictly free to play…. But the tradeoff is the burn out and FOMO…
How about next challenge have a game timer that tracks how much time each competitor puts in?
The free to play burnout is real, no matter if you're grinding hard or just being casual. Free to play can be very tiring in this game.
I feel the exact same. It took me ALL of my resources from Eostrid... I just dont think im gonna even TRY going for the may fusion. Its gonna be harder than hell to get, so i might just pray i can summon him. Im taking a break besides daily quests and CB honestly. Just feels more like a chore
Absoulutely HH. I would love to participate in something like this but my physical burnout levels (age 68) can't cope anymore with this type of pressure.
sounds like me on my F2P account. Have done virtualluy all fusins now last 2 years. Well done to all.
You now have the hands on experience of what not to do for your developing game play. - too many back to back fusions. - Nerfing the ability to aquire the resources required to advance in the game for example constant need of silver, constant cost to work on anything and costing you to rework your champions. barrage of game offers before starting the game. - too much time required to do anything in the game( the grind is ridiculous ). - nerfing or reworking champions(if this is required then you made an error, live with it) etc, etc, etc. Raid Shadow Legends is the perfect template of what not to do to your fan base ever.

I was burnt out on my main account and cold quit for 2 weeks. Then I started to get the urge again and started a new FTP account. But this time I'm just doing an hour or so per day and won't even think about a fusion until I'm 3 or 4 months in.
I got burnt out during Armanz's fusion. Pity cos I actually really wanted him.
Meh, I have him, his kit is pretty decent but his animations are so slow I'd rather not even use him 😂

I don't know how you do it. I've been playing for three or four years and my champions and achievements are nothing compared to what you've achieved!
Been feeling the same recently. Too much to fast. Such a resource drain. People will say skip, but if you skip you will fall behind. If you want to do live arena you are required to keep up or get destroyed.
Keep up with what? If your not spending thousands every month there is nothing to keep up with. So enjoy the game your not competing with anyone!
My first fusion was Eostrid im only lvl 54 new player, I will not do another fusion in 2024.
3v3 I gave up on it 2 years ago never got past silver 1

Plarium : it's easy, just pull a lot till you get good champs ... where do you get a lot of shards to pull, you ask ? ... WELL
this is absolutely crazy, me 4 years in the game, my fastest champ is 362 and 300, the rest all below 300, and 3 months in the game can get 330+.. and my hydra easy mode cant even get past 30mils, weekly doing about 15-30mils depends on the RNG on easy

WIXWELL NEEDS TO BE PVE BASED TO BE RELEVANT FOR 90% OF PLAYERS. Fuck hydra and fuck pvp. Poison is the strongest all around and is by far the best thing to make. His next 2 skills need to be the support ones, and the passive can be defensive or support, they both have their use, but my personal would probably be defense for many 15% poisons with the counterattack. Don't let the whales convince you to make a character that only benefits the 1%

ice golem 2600 points dungeon divers 1600.... +dungeon divers need 3700 points that translates to 3x ice golem runs

Armanz in mercilious and an AOE nuker can 3 star all of Nightmare campaign. Just cut off the sheep ability.
Plarium, please give us some days/weeks without a big fusion/heroes path/etc. It's really hard to do the fusions and keep progressing missions like arbiter, marius etc at the same time

Sucks that plarium has become what it's become. Business is one thing but if this many people constantly feel fed-up/burnt out then something is bad-wrong.

Whoever feels like they are burning out because of all these fusions and what not, there is one thing everyone can do. Just don't do them. It's up to everyone themselves on how much they want to play any game. FOMO is there, but is it worth burning out? IMO, it is not.
