Agritech at Wyndham Tech School

In our multi-term embedded program, students explore solutions to global food security through both Systems Engineering and Entrepreneurship and hands-on experience with the Wyndham Tech School Smart Farm 🌱⚡️
In Agritech Engineering, students learn about the future of food production
through an engineering and design thinking lens.
Agritech is a growing space for innovation. Our agritech engineering program gives students an insight into the ways that a diverse set of skills contribute to
solving problems in an interdisciplinary environment.
Meanwhile, in Agritech Entrepreneurship, students dive into the world of agribusiness, learning the
fundamentals of food production, future farming technologies, and business basics. By the end of the program, students develop and present their own agribusiness
proposal in a “Dragon’s Den” or "Shark Tank" style challenge.
In our one-day program, students experience being different Agritech specialists for the day, from planting seeds to examining the Smart Farm, and learning to use AI to code temperature sensors.
Our Agritech program is inspired by real-life problems faced by businesses operating in
the agritech space, including Wyndham Tech School’s industry
partners, Velisha Farms, The Gaia Project and Modular Farms Australia 🌍
