Great performance of this song! I'm in a wind ensemble that's playing this in a few weeks at festival, and I can say from personal experience that it is a very enjoyable piece to play :) Particularily the third movement "I'm Going Home/Warrenton"
Hi! My middle school band is playing this and IT"S SO FUN!!! I like the second half of the first movement "the morning trumpet". I think they did a really good job, but their timing is off. It switches between 120 and 110 BPM in "the morning trumpet". The brass goes faster than the woodwinds, and they speed up. I think you all did really good though!!! We're doing this for festival.
I definitely enjoyed playing the third movement, but I'd have to say the 6/8 feel of the second movement was more fun to me. I just enjoy the bounciness of it.
