Please check the volume of the unit, otherwise adjust the volume from your amp/preamp, etc

I'm wondering if i use this in noisy place.. will it pickup sound from the outside?? Or it only get the guitar sound?? Hope you can answer this..

Based on my experience, 5% of outside noise will be picked up. There are folks who use this on a live or concert setup with no feedback as well.

How do you get it to work with recording software such as GarageBand via usb as it suggests it does? I can get it to work, or does it have to have the outline into an audio interface then into the computer?

Yes, as I understand it, it it more like a pickup/preamp or mic for the guitar that you can plug to amps, PAs, or audio interface.
