You cannot be a sane person and watch videos like this and say Bruce wasn't a real fighter / martial artist. Yes, his training footage doesn't seem real but Bruce sure is. His high spinning back kick is effortless. I love Bruce's rhythm.

In my opinion nobody had rythm like Bruce. All his movements were effortless because his entire body and energy was in sync and moving at once without tension, like a snake loosely coiled and ready to strike. with the gracefulness of a dancer and precision of a fencer.
All the so called professional fighters he made them all look like amateurs
I agree not even to this day does anyone seem to have the fluidity or rythm as Bruce and we all have seen alot but not like him
As one born in 1971 words can't express the amount of love and gratitude I have for Bruce and his effect on my life.
Those years were the era of the Hippies, but instead of loafing around, these guys chose wholesome activities in their spare time. Much respect.

@@benten6301 from Nathan Jarrs: You're right. I was using Bruce Lee's "Be like water" illustration in a figurative way. Water adapts to its environment and water's transition states (liquid, solid, gas) reflects that fact. In short, water adapts, but also overcomes any problem placed before it.
@@nathanjarrs6532 He died from having too much water retained in his body. This was the result of Bruce had an operation to remove both armpit sweat glands. Yet, his body was overheating and the amount of sweat (water) was not equally exiting his system. This caused the swelling brain and thus his death. The European medical expert has concluded their research last year or so. The old day medical knowledge was not sufficient to accurately determine what caused Bruce death. So, it is ironic that his philosophy view on water as a fluid and that his body should moves as such, this water form has taking young Bruce life. Have a nice day. 👍

Bruce lee new that he only had to strengthen those parts of his body that made impact .His movements are without tension . He could grab a stone out of your open hand before you would even realise it . He moves without stress and only stresses himself the very first microsecond before impact .
man look, you are talking like fantasies or legends with NO proof of it..., now, just look at this video, Lee has almost NO speed like it is show in his films where the film tape was simply sped up.

Beginning of the video 1min in the garden it pointed out Steve mcqueen that's James coburn standing at 6ft 2. Bruce 5,8 and Steve mcqueen are 5,9 relatively same hight. Not that it matters at all. Great videos to watch again I saw these about 20yrs ago.
