We hava alot of red eye bass up here in north west Georgia some call them cossa bass. There alot of varities Georgia. I am sure what you are in. God bless you and your family....🙏❤🙏❤🙏😀🙂😊
I live bout 5 miles West of High Falls . I watched a fella wade at the base of the falls & pulled an 8 pound large mouth with a fly rod . That’s was some years back .
I’ve had this place on my list for a while. Seeing your video has definitely bumped it up on the list. I drove through your neck of the woods yesterday afternoon on my way back to Atlanta from Jacksonville.
Blake, great video and RUclips channel. I'm also a subscriber to Creek Fishing Adventures with John. I am a Security Enforcement Park Ranger with DNR at F.D. Roosevelt S.P. I want to thank you for highlighting Georgia State Parks on your channel and for what you do for Outdoor sports in our State. Happy Easter to you and yours and God Bless.
That last little bass was definitely different........could it have been a juvenile shoal bass...even though it didn't have the vertical bars! heck, maybe a crossbreed between two different types of bass.........lot of yellow on that fish.
@@G2GO_outdoors I live close to this park, the river section is part of the Towaliga river so there are definitely some shoalies in there and they like hanging out near the more choppy aerated water.
That looks like a pretty good spot! I've been in Georgia for about 3 years (moved here from NW Florida, fishing saltwater) and haven't done much fishing, I need to get out and explore
@@G2GO_outdoors I want to branch out and explore the fishing.. as soon as turkey season ends I will probably try to scout some spots. I'm in Canton and have been told about a couple spots to try
Looked like a awesome day of fishing and great quality time with your wife 😀
That it was. We used to fish together often before having kids but now we try when we can!

That last one I caught was definitely something a little different. A fun trip nonetheless
Yes you can catch big bass there, if you go down to the last water fall, I've caught a 4½ pound shoal bass and 5 to 6 pound striped bass!
Nice! I will be going back next month to try again! What bait do you prefer?
Those Bert Deener Satilla Spins will catch’em anywhere 🎣 Great Video!
That they will, need to restock, I lost several lures in this trip!
I'd be proud to wear that hat here in Camden County Geogia!
I’ll be ordering a new batch soon!
Man watching that video makes me want to load up the boat and go. I just have to find time too. Love the videos man keep it up and God bless

Nice video. Going there next month. Think I have gained a perspective from the video for what to look forward to.
Thanks, keep an eye on how much water the high falls dam is releasing, I went earlier this year and couldn’t fish due to the amounts of water
Beautiful place to fish right there
It was definitely a hidden gem!
Pretty good fishing! Love high falls!
My first time, I plan on going back this summer with a little different game plan!

Thanks for checking out the channel. John with creek fishing adventures is a friend of mine, I’m gonna suggest high falls to him. Have a great Easter!

I’m not very knowledgeable on my bass species but did look very yellow to me too. Fun nonetheless!

Georgia has some great fishing opportunities with a good variety. I’m thinking about trying the bass slam this year.

That is true but somewhere on a river is a good place to start looking!
exactly-especially dark waters
@@twohandsworking896 I like it bc you can’t see the snakes and gators!
There's lots of 5 + lb fish in that river caught 4 over 4 today and 2 stripers
Throw the fish back eat the snake 😂😂👍
I don’t think my wife would go for that! She was not a big fan of that snake!
I love high falls
It is a nice little hidden gem!
