- Sorry about the sudden frame drops; I didn't notice that until I rendered the whole video which by then it was too late. It won't happen next time. This is the ultimate tutorial so far, incorporating everything we've learned so far.
This series will teach you thoroughly about making a marble race. The series will be divided into three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

Here are some tips about marble race:
1-Turn on grid so the build can be more smooth
2-Make sure that the marble size is 0.25m and the tracer is 0.45m big and 0.5 sec fade
3-Set every motor torque to the highest value (If not enough, change the torque to +inf)
It will be better if tracer is 0.5m size and ~0.2s fade. Long fade looks not good.

I have a tip for new marble racers: There are plenty of scenes that have many marble components for beginners, this takes out the time of making marble race components for new people, and makes you spend more time on making races. :)
I hardly used any other peoples parts. I did use like 2 bowls tho.

Edit 3: Now, what's next? Teleporters? Velocity? Changing gravity directions? Floating marbles? Are all of those 4 gonna be in advanced? How many new *things* are we gonna learn in advanced? 6? 7? 8? 9? maybe more?
Teleporters, velocity pads, gravity pads, yes indeed! I might even add an expert level because there are so many things involved in scripting.

You can use the two-way bowl that has 2 openings
When you make a pump, to elevate the marbles. Won't it crush them? They just go under the track because of the pressure the pump does to it when it goes down directly on top of them which causes them to go through the race track.
I haven't downloaded algodoo but I'm watching the tutorials so I know what I am doing with my marble races.

but how do you prevent marbles getting smushed by the pump? you can see that if a marble gets under the pump it will get crushed so i shought some kind of mirror controller?

I glued my track to the wall, and when I hit fall so the marbles would fall, it made the track fall too! (I use a iPad (iOS))

How do you record your marble race?
What's happening, it's just too fast, I don't understand, what is happening with the starting point?
How, just click clack and it's copied and hollowed, but how you copy it?
using the CTRL : press CTRL then left-click the item to copy/past and move it wherever you wants. multi-selection will multi-copy your items. And when you copy past, the old and the new item are both selected, so you can fastly copy/past a lot of items

Select them all, right-click, layers, check the last case : "not auto-collision"
how to build the elimination
How do you make it to where the marbles are invinsible to other marbles but not objects
Check Killer and Immortal for the marbles.
But that just destroys whatever the marble hits
mario and luigi gaming Check Immortal for all the objects you don't want destroyed.
