Algodoo contraption #2 - The Funworks Mechanism

- A Rube Goldberg contraption made in Algodoo.
Nothing in this video is scripted and it was all recorded in one take.
This took an incredible amount of time to perfect and countless takes of recording to get it right. At one stage, after hours of failed attempts, I abandoned it completely for about 3 months.
I hope it was all worth it :)

I think that was experimental. He was just testing until he found a spring that could hold enough weight.

PixelCortex PixelCortex, I understand you were angry for each fail, but once your contraption finally worked, I understand you had a change of heart. When this occured, how did you treat your old fails? Did you still dread your drops, or do you now chuckle at your "dicing rampage"?
Thanks for your comment. I rewatch et my old videos from time to time (not out of vanity, just to try seeing it through the eyes of a viewer and to see where I can improve), so when i look back at this video and the failures, I'm actually proud of the comedy factor it provides. I find my past rage quite entertaining. People seem to like it too, so it's something that I'll keep doing.
Because of that, why not do a video where you start a dicing rampage on a lot of random objects?

Thanks. You mean from start to finish? Minus the 3 month gap, it took about 3 months on and off. I work very slowly :)
still, it was amazing. its sad how 3 months (or 6) of work can be into just a simple 6 minute video.

The mario fan (also the guy who does not like anime) there is a lot of testing and changes that have to be made that's why it took a while
Imagine if near the end of recording, Algodoo crashes, corrupting both video and physics scene files.
Don't joke, it's happened before, well not everything corrupt in one go, but it sucks all the same. One word: backups
