I lived in Viet Nam for a couple of years and like the locals was very fond of napping for an hour after lunch. Almost everything in my city of 1.2m people shut down including the banks and government offices. During nap time the city was very quiet and peaceful.
I don't know how much the term "You snooze, you lose" can relate to people a lot, but it really should relate as much as often. Lots of people should never sleep on the job. Don't sleep on the job, even though naps are still considered healthy.
CEOs get naps because they don't actually do any real work. The rest of the workforce at Hubspot probably don't get the same luxury as their very special CEO - no one else in the video is taking a nap. (Hubspot is a CRM similar to Salesforce - both products are questionable as to whether or not they are actually useful. $8 billion is a stupid valuation.) The phrase "NASA found that 'pilots who napped for just 26 minutes...'" is not the best phrase to use either by CBS or NASA. You don't really want pilots falling asleep on the job. It's equivalent to saying that the DMV has found that, "Drivers who fall asleep behind the wheel for a few minutes every day while driving are safer and more alert."
I love my naps. I come from a long line of nappers in my family.

It used to be a great Southern tradition.
I often napped on my lunch break, I just closed the door and put my feet up. I think more companies should have recess and nap periods.
You have a door! Foul!
Rocky Marciano used to take 45-minute naps before his fights.
He retired as the heavyweight champion undefeated with a record 49-0.
20 minute nap will re-boost energy for the rest of the day
Boy that didn't work when I was younger..At work you could get sent home or fired for even looking drowsy!! Times have really changed!!!
Yeah, back in the 80’s, I got called into my managers office and was reprimanded for taking a nap on my lunch hour. “Are you sick?”
I've personally found that afternoon naps screws up my nighttime sleep
Hour of power, that's what i call my lunchtime nap. I wake up and the rest of the day is a breeze
15-30 minutes during a lunch break works for me some days.
My last year before I retired, I would bring my rv camper to work. I would take a nap after lunch in my rv. Freaking awesome.
This story made me sleepy.
