Good reaction! If, when you end Ride the Lightning, you want to listen to some different Metallica, I'd recommend The Outlaw Torn or Bleeding Me. Both the studio and the live with the symphony (S&M) versions are amazing.
Btw, Escape is imo a good song, but Hetfield himself hates it, and they didn't play it live till 2012 (only 1 time) when they did the whole album live.

Yeah you can miss Escape. It’s nothing special. It’s made to satisfy a radio company that waned a more radio friendly song. James hates the song. Trapped Under Ice is so underrated
