Weird question, which is better modded switch lite, rp4 pro or odin 2 mini ? Maybe Linux handhelds more better, I want bit of everything like old school low end PC games. I'm more of a tinker So kinda confused, need help there are so many options.
@RetroOasis you are right, but if I had enough would have went with SD, sadly I don't so that is why I wanted your opinion on whether to get a switch to mod or odin 2 mini.
😂you understand nothing about emulation do you? Yuzu for android hasn’t been out that long and it takes time. In another year or two this emulator will be amazing.
@@BeamerTime354 nope. I only used paid Drastic emulation for DS & free PPSSPP for PSP. I didn't understand about Yuzu need to take 2,3 years when smartphone several times more powerful than Switch. PS3 emulation also lagging so bad on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
I have the base version and it can play the most of the games the games that dosent play is because of the YUZU apk but they update the app alot. Ps2 and GC dose play with no lag and with 2/3 res
I played some of them games on a snapdragon 855 chipset using turnip drivers and achieved higher performance, did you not use the custom GPU drivers? Also are you using the newer NCE cpu version?
@@RetroOasis Ah ok, wasn't sure if you slapped the video together quickly or used footage from older recordings before the NCE released. Thanks for the info...
@@dorion9111 No worries, to be honest I recycled the footage from my brazilian channel (where the video was release about a month ago) but from now on all the videos will be realeased simultaneously. Sorry for the trouble.
Own the games, yeah right! That’s what everybody says but end up getting those games off ……. One of the reasons to get these types of machine is piracy, stop being naive!
So, we go out and spend more than it costs for a Switch console so that we can emulate some Switch Games. Whatever next, how about filing the edges of 50p coins so that you can make them in to 10p coins?
@@RetroOasis And yet the video is titled, "Switch on Odin 2" and then spends something over 90% of its duration showing Switch emulation. The only other system mentioned (not shown) was PS2.
@@geoffreyjohnstone5465 you're missing the point. The DEVICE is not only about Switch emulation. It's much more and can do much more than the Switch can. This video is about Switch on the Odin, just like I have another one for just PS2. I also own a Switch Oled but if I had to choose I'd take the Odin 2 Max in a heartbeat.
@RetroOasis I stand by my comment. Might as well buy the ROG Ally or the Steam Deck if you are going in to £400+ territory. I think it falls between two chairs.
@@geoffreyjohnstone5465 Ok, now we're talking about something completely different. I also have the ROG Ally and the Deck and they are much more versatile devices. If I had to choose one myself I'd go for a mini PC. I just think there are other things to consider like battery life, portability, Android OS, things that only the Odin 2 can offer. If these things weighted on my decision I'd go for the Odin 2 no matter the price (being reasonable of course). I'm not trying to convince anyone to buy this handheld with my videos, I'm just showing what's capable of.
It amazes me how well hollow Knight for switch emulates. I was able to play it on my retroid pocket 3+ which basically only plays Celeste and lower
It's a great game!
Are you running the latest version of Yuzu from the github and did you enable NCE in the settings. BOTW runs at a full 30 FPS for me.
I recorded this video a couple of days before the NCE version was released, I know performance is better now.
thats not yuzu nce version isnt it? theres other youtuber uploaded zelda botw with yuzu nce and reach constant 30fps
No, it's not. I recorded this video a couple of days before the NCE version released. I know the performance is even better now.
how is the wait time with ayn
They're shipping pretty fast nowadays.

@@keepitshort4208 But the Odin 2 Mini costs as much as a SD... I'd go for the SD unless portability is an issue.

Is the base model enough for switch emulation?
I'd say yes for a lot of games but it would definetely benefit from the extra RAM of the Pro and Max versions.

hi Mate from where can i download switch games for my odin2?
Can't post links for copyright reasons... Best bet would be torrent sites and some Telegram groups.
Nintendo Ninjas are after you 😂
How long does it take to emulate 1 game ?
Sorry but I didn't understand your question.
Bro put on your description that you own these games and dumped them
Thanks, just did!
