Wish he could come back and further develop Aethersx2. Theres still a few games that dont run correctly. Its such a shame that some "fans" gave him such a hard time not showing appreciation.
I think both are great devices. The Deck has the amazing Oled Screen, it's able to play PC games and it's crazy confortable, but it's quite big and a bit more difficult to get the emulators running (just a tiny bit). The Odin 2 is smaller and easy to carry, can play Android games and it's easy to config. But has a smaller (LCD) screen, can't play PC games and it's less ergonomic than the Deck. In the end what's important to you? Screen? PC games? Android games? Portability? Ergonomics?
Not bad, FYI, not all scaling is treated equal on PS2, we can't see an overlay of the exact resolution, 2.5x on some games might be 1600, some might be 1920... I recommend to put the overlay on the next time.
When I'm downloading things and I try to pull down menu to see the progress it doesn't work it just pops right back up and doesn't let me see the progress. Has anyone else had this issue?
Yeah, only get the pro if Switch is a priority, the base will cover everything else just as well as any of the higher end models. Even the base can play some switch games and with further optimizations it may just be able to play all the switch games the Pro and Max could.
@@KyleRuggles Thanks. I actually want to get this for these new and upcoming high graphics Android games rather than retro emulation and most reviews only feature emulation. Would you know if the base model is powerful enough for these Chinese and Korean high end Android games? Does it make sense to go for the pro or max in my case and will the base model be enough for at least a couple of years before having to go for a 8 gen 3 android handheld?
Lets not forget Tahlreth and the amazing job he did.

Mostly all the games you showcased I enjoyed. Good Job. Subbed.
Much appreciated!
Awesome video, I have the Odin pro but I think I upgrade to odin 2 max because this looks incredible😀❤️
Love your game selection!
i was confused between this and Steam deck OLED.

Better buy odin
It's a lot cheaper than steam deck oled?
@@suhtangwong ok so now we have retroid pocket 4 pro as well and i guesss it can play PS2 games as well .
Can play PC games using gforce now or xbox game pass streaming
Great video but by any chance do you know is if it plays any of the tmnt games no one shows those games for the ps2
I haven't tried them but I'm pretty sure it will work just fine. If it's compatible with the emulator it will run.
@@RetroOasis you have Odin 2 - you can test it easily...
@@artosmarto3804 yeah easily. Unfortunately I don't have the time to do every single request...
Can this play ps1 games? Like the original spiderman (2000) game? I’m fairly new to this sorry haha
Yes, absolutely. It plays amazingly with high resolution graphics.
Awesome!! Thank you so much for the response, I really appreciate it! I’m getting one after watching your review. Many blessings to you! ✝️😀 subbed!!

In your opinion, what is the Bluetooth connectivity like? Do you experience lag using a controller?
The only bad thing about this device is the lcd screen.. i am used to oled panel because the black colour really black i oled

hi, how about DC FF7 ? thanks

Has anyone else had this issue?
That's weird, haven't seen that before. I know it's a pain but have you tried a factory reset?
Will PS2 games run as good on the Pro model?
Absolutely. The Pro model is more than capable of running PS2 without issues.
the base model will run them just fine too
@@RetroOasis what are the added benefits of the max model vs the pro?

Can i use cheats on san andreas with that handheld?
Yes, if it works on the original console it will work here.
AetherSx2 or Nethersx2?
AetherSX2
Thanks, really enjoyed this video…is there a way to get the ps2 games to run full screen? Adios
Thanks for watching! Yes, you can run games full-screen, you can change on the emulator settings.
