12volts or 24volts, for the same watts, the amps are so low that it really doesn't matter, because that switch only powers the fan relay coil, which is what really handles the fan circuit.
Hey Ben, Thanks for the great videos. I have a 1097A2 so anything you are doing on those I would be very interested in. I have my thermostat and fan switch inbound but please keep up the great videos on these! -Mike
Hey, I love your Humvee! Thanks for the info on running cooler as well. I am rebuilding a 1994M998 and I will take your advice and get those sensors and thermostat as well. Can I ask you about the doghouse in yourinterior? Did you build out yourself or was that something you ordered?
Very common misconception, the old 3 speed humvess could reliably run upto 55mph ish but could be pushed closer to redline a fair bit faster (more like 65mph) These newer 4 speed trucks can do 70mph plus reliably. Also fuel economy is not as bad as rumors say, average 11 mpg
I always wondered if a coolant radiator mounted on the roof would help with removing the heat from the engine bay and freeing up space for larger independant heat exchangers/ ac/ trans etc. up front.
I'm sure it would help very much! That angled radiator has a hard time dissipating heat especially at higher speeds! The red dot AC kits sometimes mounted the condensers on the roof like you are saying, they work very well I hear.
@@TheCoralSniper Rerouting the non engine coolant heat exchangers to the roof may be an option allowing a larger engine coolant radiator and I know the trans, Ac, engine oil and diffs etc would benefit from the extra cooling of a roof mounting instead.
I have seen those and studied it a bit, seems to have mixed opinions on if it helps or not. I just figured if I could lower the overall coolant temp it would help those rear cylinders out a bit! Plus these optimizer blocks are improved over the old chevy ones.
@@manniehalmagean5555 no it's not, it's my 2nd humvee, it looks so similar to my last that I can see people thinking it's the same! Obviously I have a favorite look for these trucks 😅
wow the h2 wheels looks great on the humvee!
Humvees are stylin'!!

@@rockiea4822 I'm located in SW florida 👍
Great tip thanks for sharing brother new sub here
Nice Job 😎👍!
looks great. I hear these things are very slow and only do like 55 to 60MPH on the freeway.

Looks amazing! What top did you use on this, and what center console is that?
I used a PlanB hard top and custom made the center console

What type of paint did you use for the Humvee?
I thought you were going to show a homemade paradox coolkit.

Did you body lift your humvee, cause I see the springs are oem, but it sits higher than an oem humvee
Yes I did, I always do a 3" body lift on my humvees, I made a video of what all is involved
Thank bud I’ll check them out :)
I like your center console? Where can i buy the kit for it?
@@fieldstv I built it myself
You should tack about the motor transmission replacement
This truck has the original 6.5 and 4 speed transmission, it's a 2005 M1097A2 all stock
@@TheCoralSniper so this is not same one in the beginning of you Videos
