Zlatan didn't go to retire at Saudi. Instead he decided to stay at Milan, won Seria A last season, and retired as a Milanista. What a way to retire, man. Even those who used to mock him based on his interviews will miss him. He will forever be a role model for every generation to come. Love you from the core of my heart, Zlatan. ❤❤
Wow, seeing you Barcelona fans show your love for Ibrahimovic, although he played only for 1 season, warms my heart as a Milan fan. Zlatan really is one of greatest footballer ever
My all time fav number 9. For me his career should be taught as an example for the new generation because not winning major titles aren't the measue of greatness. Zlatan played in one of the greatest eras of football ( Serie A in the 00s) and not in just one team; he shone in Inter, Juve and Milan. The respect he earned in Italy is unmatched and his goals archive is the best of all time. I can't remember a player having better top10 goals than Messi, Zlatan, Romario, Dinho and Maradonna. He was decisive yet so unlucky but his undying passion and great mentality kept him on a high high level. Screw titles Zlatan is much much bigger than them. Love you imperatotre and thanks for joining my favorite team. Visca Barca 💙❤
How can you say "screw titles" like that? The man won FIVE scudettos, La Liga, Europa League, four Ligue 1 and two Eredivisie, among others, being mvp and/or top scorer in many of them. This is not some folkloric, entertaining player who never won squat, he actually did win a lot.
@@YeezySkeezy It is common knowledge that Zlatan is a class above Suarez, dont get me wrong though Suarez is still an incredible player, but Zlatan is top top tier, a much more complete player
@@YLB-wk2fg while I could see why most would say that, I personally disagree. I see them as equal, as they are both scary but for different reasons. Zlatan, unlike Suarez, was very mobile and couldn’t make a goal in basically any way imaginable. In that sense, he could be unpredictable. Suarez on the other hand was just a complete striker. Not player, but just a complete striker. He was fast, precise, and could take the ball from any of his teammates to transform it into a goal. He was definitely less of a solo player than Zlatan, but complete in his position he was.
Nah, the very best players win the biggest and most important titles. The sport is about winning, not individual accolades. The truly magnificent make winners out of everyone around them.
An extraordinary career comes to an end, but the legacy of Ibrahimovic will live on forever. Thank you, Zlatan, for the countless unforgettable moments you've given us on the field. As a Barcelona fan, I'll always cherish the time you spent at our club, showcasing your incredible talent. Wishing you all the best in your retirement, Love you Lion.❤
Zakończył przez wiek. Kariera wielka. Został najstarszym zdobywcą bramki Serie A w historii. Nigdy nie mógł wyjść z cienia Messiego i Ronaldo choć w niejednym momencie swojej kariery był lepszy od nich. Do tego wszystkiego brakuje tylko Złotej Piłki i kariera idealna. Jedna z największych i niezapomnianych legend futbolu. Zlatan - my nie zapomnimy ❤
One of a kind tall fast striker with the passing and movement and dribbling that much smaller players typically have. The power in his shots and the skill on the ball are second to none. Almost all of these in the highlights were the first goal from the team. that just shows how good he was leading from the front! As a Barca fan I remember feeling like we were so lucky to have him and messi in our forward like. With youn talent like Pedro and Bojan around them this forward line was insane.
He could've really shone to his full potential at Barca..... He was young , extraordinarily talented and ofc had a godlike mindset. We probably would've seen him doing even more than he did..... Cause watching his game reminds you he had something above everybody else. Zlatan the GOD🔥
Yep Barca fans love Ibra…amazing talent and player as well as an incredible character outside the field…we were sad it didnt work out between him and guardiola, he would have stayed much much longer
In just seconds, we were happy with the return of the goat, but in other seconds, Ibrahimovic retired. Thank you for everything you gave to football and to every fan of this round. But remember, we love and miss you always and forever, with my love from the heart of Barcelona❤❤
@@edgarotieno2872pep doesn’t like players who are unwilling to sacrifice their egos for the good of the team. Pep wants to build teams that reach for majesty; to do requires players willing to sacrifice for the team. Zlatan was always more important to Zlatan than winning or team greatness, same with Yaya. You could tell Yaya was efo-driven, insecure and immature, because when he didn’t get what he wanted he immediately did what he thought would be most damaging to the guy who damaged his ego: accused him of racism, lol.
It worked extraordinarily well the first half of that season: He scored in his first 5 games for Barca, was the top scorer in the team that winter, and if you looked at Barca’s website at the time, he was consistently voted favourite player by the fans. For some reason things soured in the spring. I don’t pretend to know what happened, but the sense is obviously that it was a case of ”this town ain’t big enough for the two of us”. And of course, that conflict could only ever have one winner. In any case, as evidenced by a lot of game-winning goals in this video - not the least the only goal in the first El Clasico - he won La Liga for Barca that season.
@@hackapump You are 100% right, he was superb and decisive in that first half of the season. Then you could see he was down mentally, I've never seen him like that ever in his career, like in the last half of the season. I assume that "this town ain't big enough for the two of us" was in relation to Pep, right? Zlatan never talked about any problems with Messi, only with Pep.
@@MMerlyn91 Yes, he seemed depressed and somewhat confused in the last few months, very uncharacteristic. And you’re right, by his own account he never had any issues with any of players, not even Leo. (And I don’t think Leo had anything against Zlatan either). But introverts too can have a big ego: I think it’s fairly clearly established - by journalists and writers close to the club - that Leo was unhappy during that first half of the season, and that he convinced Pep to change the system slightly to accommodate him, at the expense of their number 9. (Zlatan being the fan favourite wasn’t just a reflection of his performance, it was of course also a reflection of the fact that Leo was struggling a bit to assert himself that fall and winter. Not that he was bad, just not spectacular). Some even suggest that Pep left Barca because of the sway Leo held over the club. He never had any choice but to axe big Z. Again, I obviously have no way of knowing any of this, but it does make sense where no alternative explanation does. As for what went through Pep’s head at the time, that is the actual mystery to me. It seems a legendary manager should be able to handle conflicts like this easily, yet he failed miserably. More than one have suggested his ”people skills” aren’t on par with his football knowledge. It’s also what Zlatan’s criticism against him boils down to, if you shave off the invectives. :D It is tragic in the sense that playing for Barca was Zlatan’s dream come true. He was deliriously happy those first 6 months. And this debacle of course is the main reason he never won CL. Then again he went to AC Milan and became a better player than he ever was. His development at Milan was staggering, perhaps the greatest leap of his career. Revenge? ;)
His ability as a striker to be present at the right spot when a cross or pass was put in the box was uncanny.. In so many matches today we see so many crosses and passes go across the goal post without any player present to tap the ball in the goal. Zlatan was always there to either head the ball in or kick it in at the end of the cross.
