I am an international student from Europe and want to start a RUclips channel when I arrive in Edinburgh for my master's, but my visa says I cannot be self-employed. How did you deal with this issue? You don't make money on youtube until you hit a bunch of different requirements like 4k viewing hours in 1 year or 1k followers which take awhile to get.
