Physical media is a lot better. Collecting media that you love (movies, tv, etc) is convenient and cheaper and a fun hobby. Digital media isn't ownership too! Examples included when Discovery took back digital purchases on PS4 and Funimation shut down, taking away people's purchases and rentals of anime.
Sounds like cable is streaming again, but how we wanted before. Pay for the channels we want. Pick the service that best fits you and watch the shows or movies you want. When you add one remove one
6:59 Oh this is a big point. So I had Netflix 4 years ago and at home I have a room with a old Projector for which i need a HDMI to VGA Adapter. No biggie usually. And two three months into my subscription I felt like watching something on there. But no, apparently Netflix when running on a Console like a PS4 can detect if you are using a HDMI Adapter and then denies you acces to anything. Like bruh what kind of nonsense is this shit. I canceled this shit the next month in a large part to this nonsense.
Can’t even cast Netflix during a video call. Nor can I download the movie and watch it that way with my gf. Before cancelling my Netflix subscription I literally had to go to the pirate bay to download the movies I was paying to access
Do one of those charts that show how few organizations actually own those streaming companies. It’s monopolies playing monopoly till it can buy and get rid of the competition some day. When it’s fixed all the monies will go to two holding companies.
I’m not really understanding what the hype is with all these streaming services. Really, the only streaming that I do is RUclips. If I want to watch a movie or a TV show, I have it stored locally on my iPad, that way I don’t have to rely on an internet connection.
I love piracy so much
mhh yes lovely torrenting
Yo ho ho!
Agreed 💯 It's Total Insanity

Same. I rarely stream anything anymore unless I’m really looking forward to the show, and then cancel ASAP.
