No one ever put All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven on their list of cry worthy books. I mean I RARELY cry in books and that was one of the few books I cried for.
Some books that made me ugly cry 1) Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma 2) Half Lost by Sally Green 3) Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare 4) Champion by Marie Lu 5) Hurt by Tabitha Suzuma
Oh god. I ugly cry throughout the last 3 books. I can barely watch those movies either because it's worse for me to see all those cherubic characters so upset.
All The Bright Places had me emotionally broken for a good week or so. I would go to bed and because I have my books on my bedside table I would see the cover and start crying...
I literally stopped reading it at pg no. 349 because i was so filled up with emotions that i couldn't go on. I kept it away and didn't read the later part for 2 weeks. I won't seriously read it again, it was so emotional i cannot handle it.
this box makes me extremely jealous because so much me before you merch THE TIGHTS AND THEJUST LIVE MUG AHHHH AHAH OMG that's so cool that they sent you tickets XD i'm laughing at all of those censors i wanna read i'll give you the sun so bad!! SUCH A GREAT VIDEO
There was one night, when I decided to continue reading clockwork princess, I was hoping to go to sleep early, because I had a test the next day. It was 4AM!! When I finished it. FINISHED IT. I was crying asking myself what did just happen, then I tried to go to sleep and I couldn't. Before I could close my eyes the alarm sounded, and had to go to school, freaking depressed and shocked, got a 0 on that test
It's a bit like that..seems when kids are thrust into situations where they have to be the "adults" for younger siblings the roles become a little too real. Forbidden at least they were free to go places but the end was definitely sad.
lol I did the same thing when I read the book and watched the movie, however I found it oddly addictive and ended up reading it all and watching it all. And apparently the author made other incest stories too, I guess it was her kink or something.
Champion, the last book in the Legend trilogy is the only book that has made me ugly cry. I do finished it late at night, I was sleepy, and my emotions just over took me.
Gosh! Forbidden, Clockwork Princess, Allegiant and The Fault In Our Stars were the ones that had me gasping for breath and crying my eyes out. I will never forget it.
Omg clockwork princess made me ugly cry for an hour, like during the epilogue when Tessa says that she doesn't remember the exact shade of blue of Will eyes or the depth of his laugh ,I just broke down ...
Clockwork Princess is the most I've ever cried over a book. I honestly thought Henry was dead and totally lost it ugly crying. During the epilogue I couldn't stop crying either, it was a long night until 3 AM.
I loved how Sasha did not spoil Outlander and she just kept saying "that thing that happened" or "seeing it happened in a book" or "that doesn't happen" or "that actually happened" :3 thanks for not spoiling it hehe
I read “I’ll Give You the Sun” about two months ago and I still can’t stop thinking about it! Jandy Nelson has such an artistic and breathtaking writing style and her characters have very colorful and deep personalities. This book had such a huge impact on me, especially since I have two sisters I’m really close with. I hope you like this book too!! (:
Saint Anything is one of my favorite books by Sarah Dessen! She's been my favorite author since FOREVER (aka when I picked up Lock & Key in middle school). It's such a great book and made me cry so much.
I was on the school bus hiding my face because We Were Liars made it swell up. *spoilers ahead* I still don't know whether they were hallucinations or ghosts, but once she explained the fire, how she heard them scream, and realizing they were dead, how her mom always said I love you, her Grandpa called everyone Mirren, and everything started to come together, I was gone. I had to tell the bus driver not to worry because it was only my book.
Same! Only I was in the living room and my parents and sister were looking at me, asking me if everything's ok... This book put me in a riding slup, it was to hard !
That Forbidden book kind of sound like Flowers in The Attic. And if you're wondering, Flowers in the attic (which is also a book serie with 5 books) was published in 1979 and has been adapted into a movie twice. Once in the 80's and once in 2014- 2015.
God I almost started crying again when you talked about Clockwork princess because all the feels came back ugh. My worst ugly cries were definetly Clockwork princess and The darkest minds
I work in a bookstore in Israel, and the publisher of the hebrew translation took the staffs of different book chains to a pre-release screening of Me Before You on 5.30. It was amazing!!! I also read the book a year ago, so I'm feeling real hipster right now
I recently read Forbidden and I BALLEDDDDD my eyes out! omg. My tears were falling on my ipad, I couldn't breathe out of one nostril it wasn't a pretty sight.
I finished "Clockwork Princess" yesterday and I was ugly crying for almost an hour after I finished the book. It was amazing! My favourite book I've read so far!
omg I cry a lot during books too! Forbidden made me cry so much, I was sad for days, I even made a playlist that I had listened to while reading the book lol
never read the book but the movie had me tears!! my mom passed like 6 months ago and i was her caregiver soooo this movie was def a tear jerker for me!!
Two books that made me bawl my eyes out that I can remember are The Fault in Our Stars and The Book Thief. Now that I think about it though, one of the books in the Ranger's Apprentice series made me cry too (like 3 years ago), I can't remember which one, but without giving away too many spoilers, it involved replacing an old friend :(
Me before you. It made me so emotional and made me feel depressed for days. I watched the movie first then read the book. It's an amazing book but made me cry so hard. I'm still thinking about it even now. 😥😥😩
The only books that I remember genuinely crying about for hours and had to lock myself in my room to escape from society were Champion by Marie Lu and Landline by Rainbow Rowell. Just, yes.
Gosh I'm a HUGE book (and movie and tv show) crier too! I don't exaclty remember every book I cried about but it usually doesn't need a lot so there probably are a lot... I remember I didn't stop crying for the last pages of The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter because it was just so emotional
I've been meaning to read Saint Anything for ages! I've heard SO MANY good things! I'm also so intrigued about Forbidden, I feel like the incest aspect might gross me out a little bit but IT SOUNDS AMAZING TOO
I am not a big book cryer, but the two books I distinctly remember crying about are Allegiant and The Fault in our Stars. The endings of both of them.... ugh, it makes me want to cry just thinking about them.
I just love watching your channel. You have such an uplifting spirit. (I collect mugs too!) Can't wait to see what else the future has in store for you.
WHOA I actually said that out loud and paused the video when you said: "No one would want to live the life Will is living." WHAT??? He's ALIVE. He has loving parents, a good home... that is more than most people have. (Note: I have no personal experience with being a quadriplegic or knowing anyone like that) Will had a good life. He just didn't have the life he wanted. While I understand why he was depressed, I feel that he was being a little ungrateful - he was alive. I don't have any personal experience with this kind of stuff, but I think Will had stuff to live for.
The outlander thing and the red wedding were both very hard to read and watch. Watching the red wedding was horrific if you hadn't read the books because you had no clue it was going to happen. I can't wait to see Me Before You! I think I am going to go today or tomorrow.
Clockwork Princess is literally the first book that made me cried so hard that I literally bawled my eyes out :') I just can't reread it without crying
Ok WOW!! First, Love You Sasha! Thanks for liking some of my Instagram posts that I tag you and Ben in! Second, I paused the video at 7:34 Only because the book shocked me enough to buy it on the spot on my Kindle paperwhite. Being reckless over here! Didn't even read the sample! Me Before You was the first book that made me think. (Missed it in the theatre!) I also have a disability. I felt like I knew where Will was coming from in a odd way. So that's why I'll be happy to read Forbidden, because its another book that will make me think. If that makes sense?
Outlander - classic Sasha ;) I cried like you did while finishing Me before You! Heartbreaking. And I totally feel you with the forgotten tickets - I would forget my head if it was possible :D
The saddest book I have read recently is probably Everything I never told you. I don't really cry at books but I don't cry anyway so it's not that unusual. But that book really almost brought tears to my eyes.
I don't remember the next few days after reading A Clockwork Princess, I think my brain blocked out the trauma😁 But I fuzzily remember locking myself in the bathroom and choking on my feels so yeah to say it was sad doesn't cover it correctly😭
When I re-reas Harry Potter, I have to read the 6th & 7th back to back because I start crying at the end of the 6th until the 7th is over...and then I have a depression. one day someone asked me why I looked depressed 3hours after I finished the 7th...and I started crying on the spot. I can't even say why I cry every time.
If you haven't read We Were Liars, you need to ASAP. The end just blows your mind. My ugly cries were when Dumbledore died, Alliegient, 13 Reasons Why, TFIOS, and If I stay. But We Were Liars hit me the most
It is not a Sasha video without Outlander 😂💖
I said the same 😂😂
Duhhhhhh ;)
yup :)
For Clockwork Princess, "very emotional" does not express how one feels at the end of it.
Clockwork Princess made me feel dead inside for a good few days.
Same here. And I think that people probably think this is an exaggeration, but it's literally what happened.
Same except THE FEELS NEVER DIE
+Ana Laura Muniz WHAT HAPPENED COULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME !! Will died didn't he ?
Same I wore all black and talked to no one for 2 days
+Sara Alotaibi yup will died at age 80 or something then at epilogue tessa ended up with jem too
No one ever put All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven on their list of cry worthy books. I mean I RARELY cry in books and that was one of the few books I cried for.
Some books that made me ugly cry
1) Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma
2) Half Lost by Sally Green
3) Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
4) Champion by Marie Lu
5) Hurt by Tabitha Suzuma
CHAMPIONNNNNNN
I will never get over that
Oh champion! But..... shes writing Rebel which is the 4th book! I need it!
I cried ugly tears probably five times during HP7. There are just too many moments...
Then there's me who rarely cries even when I feel like I should be.
Oh god. I ugly cry throughout the last 3 books. I can barely watch those movies either because it's worse for me to see all those cherubic characters so upset.
I cried too many times in Deathly Hallows.
I cried too many times in Deathly Hallows.
I cried when Dobby dies Sirus dies, and Fred.
All The Bright Places had me emotionally broken for a good week or so. I would go to bed and because I have my books on my bedside table I would see the cover and start crying...
SAME IT WAS SO SAD
same :'((
Hannah Cromie I literally have to hide it because whenever I see it I start feeling super emotional
I literally stopped reading it at pg no. 349 because i was so filled up with emotions that i couldn't go on. I kept it away and didn't read the later part for 2 weeks. I won't seriously read it again, it was so emotional i cannot handle it.
this box makes me extremely jealous because so much me before you merch
THE TIGHTS AND THEJUST LIVE MUG AHHHH
AHAH OMG that's so cool that they sent you tickets XD
i'm laughing at all of those censors
i wanna read i'll give you the sun so bad!!
SUCH A GREAT VIDEO
THANKS LOVE!
Clockwork Princess KILLED me. It crushed my heart into 10,000 pieces in the best way possible omg ;(
😭😭😭
I ugly cried when I read The Book Thief. It is a master piece I swear!!!!!!!!!
Sammmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
The Book Thief is the book I've cried hardest at in all my of reading life D:
omg...YASSS..such an emotional book..that book is pure perfection😭
Oh My god same that was so sad
Same!! The ending had me just dissolved into tears.
Usually I don't cry while reading books/watching movies, BUT Clockwork Princess made me cry so much! The pages were wet, no kidding😂
Same ! I found myself crying on clockwork princess like whyyyyy😫😫😫
Same! I've never cried so much in a book before :'(
Same, I literally have a tear stain in the epilogue.
I finished a week ago and my eyes are swollen from sobbing the past few days
Tell me how did you move on? What's the secret?
+Megan bayram There's no secret. You never move on.
"Forbidden" sounds a bit like "flowers in the attic".
It's a bit like that..seems when kids are thrust into situations where they have to be the "adults" for younger siblings the roles become a little too real. Forbidden at least they were free to go places but the end was definitely sad.
+Justine Torp it's an even crazier book in the movie Cathy and Christopher consent to having sex, in the book Christopher sort of rapes her.
lol I did the same thing when I read the book and watched the movie, however I found it oddly addictive and ended up reading it all and watching it all. And apparently the author made other incest stories too, I guess it was her kink or something.
+Katie Hanks ew ha
+Nicole Gulino Freal lol
Omg is this a coincidence or .... I freaked out because readbyzoe just did the same vid at the same time lol
ikr !!
same my dudes
SAME
same 😂
Zoe and I have friend telepathy
You got bumblebee tights!!! Nah I'd start crying again just from them XD That book hit me HARD!!
Penguin Teen did really awesome with their promotion of this book & movie. Thanks for sharing all the goodies with us.
Champion, the last book in the Legend trilogy is the only book that has made me ugly cry. I do finished it late at night, I was sleepy, and my emotions just over took me.
Same! But..... shes writing Rebel.... ie. The 4th book in the legend *series*
Gosh! Forbidden, Clockwork Princess, Allegiant and The Fault In Our Stars were the ones that had me gasping for breath and crying my eyes out. I will never forget it.
I watched this video before and I was like "How could a book make you cry like that?" but I just finished Me Before You and I am SOBBING!
I really need the me before you merch
Omg clockwork princess made me ugly cry for an hour, like during the epilogue when Tessa says that she doesn't remember the exact shade of blue of Will eyes or the depth of his laugh ,I just broke down ...
Clockwork Princess is the most I've ever cried over a book. I honestly thought Henry was dead and totally lost it ugly crying. During the epilogue I couldn't stop crying either, it was a long night until 3 AM.

I'm not usually a book crier but the last three books of the Harry Potter series made me cry my eyes out :(
Omg I feel you! Especially the Deathly Hallows!! I was sobbing at 4 am because of that book!
Saint Anything is one of my favorite books by Sarah Dessen! She's been my favorite author since FOREVER (aka when I picked up Lock & Key in middle school). It's such a great book and made me cry so much.
Sasha, THANK YOU so much for talking about FORBIDDEN!!!!!
I also read that book and couldn't take the pain away!!!!!!!
omg yes
That unboxing was really cute :)
I think the only book that made me ugly cry was Allegiant. But when I look back on the book now I just get mad.
SAME THOUGH (except it's not the only book I've cried at)
Stars and Embers I laughed at allegiant.
I haven't read Me before you. But the movie was just phenomenal. It was absolutely amazing.
Great video !
I ugly cried for "Before I die" by Jenny Downham and for "We were liars" by E. Lockhart
I was on the school bus hiding my face because We Were Liars made it swell up. *spoilers ahead*
I still don't know whether they were hallucinations or ghosts, but once she explained the fire, how she heard them scream, and realizing they were dead, how her mom always said I love you, her Grandpa called everyone Mirren, and everything started to come together, I was gone. I agree with you on that, but I still love it. :)
Exactly !
I can't remember if I cry or I was more like WTF!? :D But yeah... I hate that book! :D :)

She realised you've got the "after" series on your shelf and it makes me love you even more wow 💖
The part you're talking about in Clockwork Princess made me cry like a little baby and ripped my heart out :(. Could not stop crying.
Forbidden made me cry so much!!! I couldn't even think about that book for weeks without sobbing

omg I cry a lot during books too! Forbidden made me cry so much, I was sad for days, I even made a playlist that I had listened to while reading the book lol
I watched the Me Before You movie without having read the book. I was balling my eyes out.😭 I'm hoping that the book will still be impactful for me.
The movie missed some details .... THE BOOK WILL KILL YOU..... good luck 😂💚
never read the book but the movie had me tears!! my mom passed like 6 months ago and i was her caregiver soooo this movie was def a tear jerker for me!!
I just finished reading Me Before You. And it is so good! Oh, and i love I'll Give You the Sun. I hope you'll enjoy reading it too. 😁
Two books that made me bawl my eyes out that I can remember are The Fault in Our Stars and The Book Thief. Clockwork Princess made me cry so much. Like I cried at bits throughout it BUT THE EPILOGUE!!!!!!!!

Zoe is the best
OMG I so balled at the end of Clockwork Princess! I feel you, Sasha, I feel you.

Absolutely loved me before you!! Had in me in tears all through out.
I love that you and Zoe posted the same video at the same time 🙌🙌
I am not a big book cryer, but the two books I distinctly remember crying about are Allegiant and The Fault in our Stars. The endings of both of them.... ugh, it makes me want to cry just thinking about them.
i want to cry only by looking at your book collection. my life GOAL is to have your book shelf
I just love watching your channel. You have such an uplifting spirit. (I collect mugs too!) Can't wait to see what else the future has in store for you.
Forbidden sounds a lot like Flowers in the attic!

SASHA YOU'RE MAKING ME FEEL THE FEELS AGAIN OMG!!😭
WHOA
I actually said that out loud and paused the video when you said: "No one would want to live the life Will is living."
WHAT???
He's ALIVE. He has loving parents, a good home... that is more than most people have. (Note: I have no personal experience with being a quadriplegic or knowing anyone like that)
Will had a good life. He just didn't have the life he wanted. While I understand why he was depressed, I feel that he was being a little ungrateful - he was alive. I don't have any personal experience with this kind of stuff, but I think Will had stuff to live for.
*sees the thumbnail* *saw something blue* *oh it's a book*
YEP.
DIANA GABBALDON.
OUTLANDER.
*GABALDON
I just seen After in your bookshelf and omg I'm excited!

I hope you read I'll Give You The Sun soon! It's incredible, meaningful..just amazing!! I cried
Omg when I saw the bumble bee tights 😍
The outlander thing and the red wedding were both very hard to read and watch. Watching the red wedding was horrific if you hadn't read the books because you had no clue it was going to happen. I can't wait to see Me Before You! I think I am going to go today or tomorrow.
Clockwork Princess is literally the first book that made me cried so hard that I literally bawled my eyes out :') I just can't reread it without crying
you love Outlander so much that now every time you click a video i always expect you to talk about this book
I'll Give You The Sun is one of my favorite books of all time. ITS SO GOODDD
oh my gosh you have to read i'll give you the sun it's one of my favorite contemporary's of all time!!
I have read so many books that have made me ugly cry. Forbidden was one of my favorites 😍
Ok WOW!!
First, Love You Sasha! Thanks for liking some of my Instagram posts that I tag you and Ben in!
Second, I paused the video at 7:34
Only because the book shocked me enough to buy it on the spot on my Kindle paperwhite.
Now Never Say Never is stuck in my head! Lol! Thanks Sasha!
i'll give you the sun made me cry SOOOO much, i've never cried so much because of book like i did when i finshed it
I was SOBBING during "13 reasons why", "before I fall", and "vanishing girls" it was torturous
ahhhhhhhh I cried so hard with the Clockwork Angel! I love everyone so much my heart can't even take it!!
*Princess I mean not that angel wasnt emotional
It's so funny seeing readbyzoe uploaded a video and then seeing you also uploaded one and both have the exact same title :D
like if it was arranged haha
Both great videos :)
WAIT REALLY?? Hahahahha no way!
If you haven't read We Were Liars, you need to ASAP. The end just blows your mind. My ugly cries were when Dumbledore died, Alliegient, 13 Reasons Why, TFIOS, and If I stay. But We Were Liars hit me the most
Yes I know that was so weird
+abookutopia Ok, almost, to be honest, there are some slight differences -but it's pretty close :D
