thanks man, someone told me that bump was a rivet and the crimps were like pinch welds and after i bend them off it'll never be the same. fkn obviously. glad I looked it up first. subscribed and liked
my wd 40 was out as well (mine all do even if I hold them the right way) idk if you knew but you can take an air compressor needle and fill it back up in the valve to save the $2 or whatever was probably left in the can.
I also clean out the box magazine/cartridge section whether I need to just hit it with brake clean then oil or, rinse it out, dry it thoroughly then, OIL IT UP INSIDE & OUT Along with the spring, & cleaning up the follower or plastic part!
There are other videos online regarding the Rossi feed ramp but, after a thorough cleaning of everything, including opening the magazine, seperate all the parts, either rinse the box/ cartridge in water then dry & oil, or brake clean it then, clean it & always follow by oiling the inside & outside of the magazine , spring & plastic follower plastic part. Some need filing to the feed ramp but only after trying SEVERAL OTHER CLEAN MAGAZINES!!! Some overlook the cleaning & oiling of all magazine's. I hope you get it feeding & operating properly!
No it is not. Look at the back top slot of the Rossi magazine near the feeder, Then look at the same spot on the Mossberg Magazine. The Mossberg slot is narrower than the Rossi. So, you cannot use the Mossberg magazine in a Rossi 22lr Rifle.

Thank you for video.
You are very welcome.
Hope it helped!
Anyone here have a problem with the 702 mag from ProMag failing to lock in a Rossi RS22?
My rs22 is having a really bad failure to feed issue where the billet gets Jammed facing upward and it just isn’t working any suggestions?
Have you cleaned the feed ramp and the magazine riser?

Merci beaucoup mon frère
Tu es bienvenue!
If I cut some of that spring off could I make it hold another 1 or 2 rounds?
It probably wouldn't have enough tension to feed the last couple rounds.
The Rossi RS22 magazine is the same magazine as the Mossberg bolt action 802 plinkster & the 702 plinkster!
