Cracking video, lovely to see the 35 out and about, I would strongly urge you to turn off the PTO when getting out of the tractor though. Far far safer than leaving it running.
I love the two headlights sitting up like the eyeballs on a cartoon creature. I kept expecting them to start turning and looking around! lol You and Hazza are a wonderful team!!!
grass wrapping around pto shaft always a problem on small tractors cos there lower to the ground........we use to wrap a 25kg fertiliser bag around the knuckle joints at each end of the shaft and tie it up close to the tractor back axle. but seriously though Richard you need to get a guard bolted onto the tractors pto especially if your letting harry go out working on it
Brought back great memories of hot day's, the 35 and the haybob rattling behind me 😎. I would leave the raking gates off in a crop that heavy to spread it out.
Good morning Richard and Harry, That 35 looked amazing going round field the sound just bring back memories I would have the any day hope you get the problem sorted soon, That Harry is like a little ferret up and away just a great worker never want to stop and he soon spot if things are not right worth his wait in gold he just doesn’t stop, Richard you have one in a million bless him, Well it’s that time again you both take care of yourself and stay safe. 🚜🚜⭐️⭐️👍👍👌👌
Cut some plastic water pipe and make up some new bushs for the worn bits it last as long as the one you buy new we make bushs out polypipe for the front wheels on our ride on mower as ones you buy from the parts shop wear out fast
You must turn the pto off before jumping of the tractor he said luckily i know what iam doing .bad start to train up young Harry the correct way sorry but safety first people get caught in those sharfts you been around tractors a long time so stay safe for you arms and legs sake
⚠️ Unprotected PTO will kill you in a wink ⚠️ please go the full measure with the tractor shield over the exposed output shaft, and driveshaft cover. Please farm safe✌️ 🇺🇲💚
This video brings back a lot of memories❤ we had a 35X and a PZ hay bob😊 even with a rickety cab on the tractor it used to wheelie😂😂 the double clutch was handy though, dad taught me to switch off the pto before getting off the tractor...
If you didn't have the issues, might have been an idea to show Hazza driving the 35 for prosperity...oh well 😢. By the way, what's the reason for moving the tangs?
You should be starting in middle of field, working outwards turning left as those rakes only slew left handed remembering to open the clip on the guide bar which helps the rake when turning .open the those start guide full to get even blow when turning hay ,they were great rakes for the small square baller as you drive by the side of the hay swart for baler pickup is offset on the tractor .These days you go straight over the swart as big square baler round behind the tractor these day .have to remember what he your little 135 could do all the farm tasked ,year ago 100/150 acre farm were big or small holding which every way you looked at it they mite have two or three of them they were little flyer of tractor then in the late 50/60/70 .while car would only do 50/60 mph when tractors would do 15-25 mph which in a field would to fast enough no sospencation the spring on the seat was All you had.these days have bigger is speed, your still guide by size of farm yards .which seem to be what they won,t the small farmer closed down for these American style farms 1/2/3000 cow farms .beef farm with slatted sheds for 1000 beef cattle my in all year round as well .banks and government have been trying to push this for years now there robot looking after the yards scraping, milking ,feeding so called farmer / farm manager seating at his computer desk watching it all happening. sorting cow for ai so on so on need to expand to sovive these days any keep up the work love watch
I understand that the law says a 13 year old can only drive a tractor with an approved safety can under strict adult supervision! An important thing to understand I feel. When I was growing up, the law was never Very CLEAR about this. It is important to know this with all the accidents that have happened on farms over the years....
Tye a bag across the lift arms under the PTO shaft that's what we do then it stops the hay getting around the PTO shaft we have a hay bob that we use on a fordson dexta
After 40+ years of running a haybob and spending hours changing bent tines and changing between tedding and rowing, seen it all. Agree with all points raised, plus the wheels should be set up and down between tasks, the middle position is the lazy option. I expected better of this farm.
Same problem with the quality of our hay down in weston. left after second cut last autumn. Would Normally make hay in early June, this extra 6 weeks hasn't helped at all.
@@paulf2529 not sure if this is the case still today but there was a time when if you are an owner operator and the tractor in question was originally supplied without a roll bar, you only , the owner , operator ,can use it legally. it s still advisable to have one fitted for your own safety, i agree , but it was seen that if anything untoward did happen without a roll bar fitted , then it was your own fault and no one elses. as i say not sure if this is still the case today and i m not suggesting you find out for real so basically i agree with you its easier to get one fitted 🤔

Hope you told him to always switch the tractor off before doing anything to the pto
I was thinking same in the last video

Good job Harry spotted the PTO shaft wrapped up
Anti clockwise with haybob allows it to go round corners other way can force others off rim

The farm manager is not too happy with your dirty tedding machine. Nice to see an old Massy doing a proper job 🎉

Chuffed for you Richard.. even with the wee issues 😊.. stay safe 🏴

Seen fires start in a hay field by friction of hay wrapped around pto at the tractor end. You should be looking at that while working.
Good morning Richard and Farmer Harry Cornock, nice video!!!!! 😊👌👍💪💪💪💪💪
Hazza taking over, proud of the lad

I picked up on that too. Accident waiting to happen
You can't beat fully air conditioned tractors that you get from the old timers 👍👍
I mean ….. what could be nicer……. Outside working with ya son using machinery that you used with your dad. You lucky boy 👍

Good video Richard, Iam sure you will get it fixed and back going .
Hi Richard &Hazzr Great vedio, people used tie a heshen bag under the arms to stop the hay knotting your Dad probably done it but you have forgotten
Love the old Massey’s.. had a 565, 290, 398 & 4345 over the years.. 565 was the favourite! 🤗
We used to tie a bag under the tractor and that stopped hay wrapping around pto at the tractor end
You got a fine crop of hay😀🚜👍
takes me back to the 70s using our little ford 4000 with a acbot hay turner and we also had a cock pheasent hay turner best days ever

Good to see Harry off on his own!
What a beautiful sight

if banks and government push it should stay away from it, if more hacks or dodgy updates happen like the one recently your whole robot farm is down
The 35 sounds amazing!❤
Hi rich I popped into mole berkley and saw that had some twines for haybobs and I thought you could grap some for you haybob? Might help you out.
Old 35 looking good. Harry is the man.
your farm manager need to learn to check the oil and water before starting a tractor
I don't think they do that there 😕
yes i always do that

Hell of a crop.

not a great feeling when you work so hard and the weather is against you
Oh dear what can the matter be?
Test your fields for LIME very important 👌

farming is not a race. only against the weather.

@@user-jn1ty6dk5s he has the roll bar saw him paint it up he just needs to re fit it at some point .
Agree. it's a legal requirement to have it fitted.
