I did it about a month and a half ago in super icy conditions. Couldn’t catch a single edge, slipped, and slid down about 100 metres of ice. Skinned my forearm and got friction burns in both my palms.

Oh god that sounds terrible. Also a very real threat of skiing this run for everybody. I think this has been a freak season for icy conditions and bad snow, even Perisher themselves have admitted it. It's worth it to keep in mind that Kamikaze is probably double black mainly because of the ice it accumulates even in a good season. Rock Garden is equally, if not, steeper, and has much better snow quality if you are looking for a steep skiing experience in Perisher.

I was there that day when it fell 10cm after a drought.

Yes it was that Saturday. I don't know how you found it but had been dry for so long that I don't think the 10cm did all that much. There were some small patches of soft stuff but it got skied out very very quickly on Friday morning.

I think it gets the extra diamond because it is ungroomed, yes it gets icy on poor conditions but so do many other tamer areas of the four resorts.

As a pro snowboarding kid i recommended for snowboarders that aren't very good to do the falling leaf.
