    Your like the only writer who has openly said they like and use Chat GPT. There is a lot of controversy around using AI. In reality people are afraid of the software stealing our jobs. but I don't think it will. Thanks for all the videos!

    • @blushouda
      @blushouda 8 месяцев назад +26

      It's best if we use it as an ally, since AI is an invention we can benefit from as a society, but it's also best to keep limits, and not let it take over most aspects, like I thought about it once, if machines take over everything, then what are we humans going to do?

    • @myladysadie8799
      @myladysadie8799 7 месяцев назад

      AI is cheating. You are a phony if you use it. It takes away all the human Art form out of writing. It is like copying a Mona Lisa and then taking credit for it being an original. It's not original, it's stealing someone else's work. It's not fear that this comes from, it's truth. AI is deceit.@@blushouda

      The problem with AI is that I have no clue how to use it as a person who's interested in writing. Like I don't need inspiration, I like the difficulty of trying to make a story completely clear. Idk, it's kind of useless to me.

    • @Melleanah
      @Melleanah 2 месяца назад

      @@multidebbie1 I mainly use chatGBT for specific words that can be difficult to find on google. I don’t want to stop and search for 20 minutes for a verb and lose the time I’ve got to write. It takes less than 30 seconds for it to generate what I need.
      Like I’m trying to find a word fitting to a character, so I’ll ask it to generate it with the details I want and I can keep going forward.

Right now I am writing finals and after that I will completely focus on my books and making content about my books and other things. I work with reedsy. It's a mix of scrivener and milanote (but less visual, ie no mindmaps), perfect for organisation, but it also typesets automatically, sorts your chapters and notes and exports to epub and pdf! And it's free. That's a win!

    • @kenzashenna
      @kenzashenna 9 месяцев назад +2

      It also has a auto correct feature for multiple languages, and pinnable note. I always pin my time line and plot ideas for a particular chapter next to my writing.

    • @kenzashenna
      @kenzashenna 9 месяцев назад +3

      I also use artbreeder for character portraits, and an AI art generator for landscape portraits of my castles etc (I write urban fantasy)

    • @kenzashenna
      @kenzashenna 9 месяцев назад +3

      I should learn comment at the end of videos, haha. The reedsy I use is REEDSY EDITOR. you mentioned the prompt one, but reedsy editor is what's like scrivenert/talers 😅 it also tracks your writing, and I copy my word number into nanowrimo to track it and motivate myself! I also drag my Pinterest inspo into the reedsy notes, it automatically uploads them onto your pins. And then of course chat gpt, I often use that to embellish writing, spot and correct mistakes... Sometimes I paste a scene and ask chat gpt to summarize it for my time line, make me a list of all my characters.. Write a description of a characters personality or appearance based on what it's read about them.. It's like consulting an editor or friend ❤

      The only problem with reedsy for me is that I can't open it anymore. It'll suddenly start saying 401 error and will never open again, I'm warning you, Mate

    @ana neu : These are some interesting tools that you shared and I'm sure many aspiring writers will find it helpful! Thanks for taking time to share it. I have a question/video suggestion. Do you think you could do a video that details how you designed the cover of your book? Did you design it yourself or did you get someone to help you? Also, for those that may struggle art-wise, what are some ways to get ideas on how to design a book cover?
    If you could do a video on that in the future, I think it would be really helpful for anyone going the self-publishing route. Thanks again and take care!

Just a question: I want to write (and by that I mean actually finish) my first novel and I want it to be set in the 1900s. Edit: also asking all the authors in the comments :) I think your Project O is a historical novel as well. How much research did you do on it? Do you make some things up? Or generally, how imporant do you think the accuracy of the history/ language/ circumstances actually is? (I obviously did some research but I dont wanna epend half my time writing my researching every little detail) Thank youuu

      Uh...I have never done a historical novel. However, I have done mythology-based novels and I say that accuracy does matter because you don't want to be offensive, you know. I say do as much research as you can, look through articles(to hear different perspectives/versions), and take notes. Hope it turns out good!
