You inspired me to do kitchen decluttering 2.0. I held on to back up sheet trays and plastic containers, appliances like a blender I never use and cook books filled with my mothers old 1970's items, only keeping the 2 real family recipies. Thank you!
I'm proud that my junk drawer is super organized. When I was a kid our junk drawer was a huge mess. Hubby and I move almost 3 years ago and that was the drawer I made a point to organize well from the start. I wanted to be able to open it and see things without digging through other junk. Our other drawer are pretty good, just the spatulas gets messy but that's mostly because we get a little lazy when putting them back but it's not horrible. My cabinets though, I got tired of trying to keep them organized so I let my hubby put things away. It's not worth the argument lol. I can find things they're just not always a convenient place.
Thanks for the motivation. Went into the kitchen and edited out my cookbooks (kept one), pans, and mugs. Cleaned out my mail and junk drawers. Also got rid of my ice cream maker. Haven't made ice cream in years. I eventually want a new dish set. I have a hot mess of several dish sets. Maybe for my 20th wedding anniversary I will gift myself a new set.
Yesssss I got my parents two sets of glass food storage containers (48pc total). They were saying how it was too much and unnecessary and what we have is fine but I remind them of the containers without lids, the one that melted in the microwave, the ones that leak, the inability to find the right lid for each containers and the constant avalanche risk because they’re all different shapes and don’t stack. The week after Christmas my dad humbled up and admitted how pleased he was to be able to find a lid every time and nest all the dishes and generally not stress. Literally the whole house avoided putting away food containers from the dishwasher because of the stacking disaster and lids exploding out of their container
Not sure if you've got any pans but I use greenpan and LOVE IT! Cleans easy with a wash cloth, soap and water. It cooks great and food does not stick. I use them on my gas stove and don't need high heat with them either. Whatever pans you get I hope you love!😄
I just moved and decluttered my kitchen utensils, Tupperware, and my mugs. I let myself keep 8 mugs (which is probably still too many for someone who doesn’t drink coffee 🤣🤣🤣).
Great kitchen decluttering video... But OMG... We look just alike... !!!! You’re my long lost RUclips sister. And the funny thing is, we have a similar channel.
This video is so timely! We’re moving soon so it’s a great time to de-clutter. I also have 5 colanders 🙃 can you share the link to that beautiful metal one you have?!
LOL.... that small white spatula that came with the rice/slow cooker took me some time🙄 to put it in the recycle. I did a kitchen declutter over the sumer🙌🏾: new cooking set/wooden cooking utensils/glass food containers/colanders. So refreshing😊 Ummmm...gonna take some time with minimizing🙄 our mugs tho'.
My mandoline slicer is the one kitchen gadget I REALLY regret buying. I thought it would change my life but it’s such a hassle to clean 🤦🏽♀️ when I declutter my kitchen, that will definitely be the first to go!
Buy stainless steel pots, they will last a lifetime and they are beautiful. I got rid of all my cookbooks, i search on RUclips for recipes instead and I then type up my favorites on the computer or ipad.
Your kitchen look so nice! 😍 My kitchen is a hot mess but we are tackling it this weekend! The clear containers in your cabinet with your dishes, are they container store?
Welp, I definitely have a lot of kitchen items that I would like to get rid of or at least put to backyard storage. But, I'm not the one who cooks so I have to do this sneakily, even though I bet they won't even notice that there are things missing :P
When you see that you’re decluttering a lot it’s probably because you have a lot of items. Next time you declutter you will have to be very honest with yourself and stick to keeping a small amount of each item category. It’s easier to figure out what you want to keep sometimes then what you want to get rid of.
Please be safe with your cookware. Why keep those that aren’t like new? What are you truly eating? Paint? Teflon? Second hand stores and a dishwasher can create a brand new and healthy on a budget.
I need to know the name of your plates. I'm looking for that exact style preferably in grey, but I'm struggling to JUST find the plates. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Was in the kitchen when i watched it and started decluttering on the spot. Thank you!
Nice and you're so welcome!

Trust me I get it. You’re so welcome!
I'm like you and get rid of broken, scratched etc items which then leads to partial sets of things. Love this video. You're so cool.
Thank you, you're so sweet!

Yayyyyyy! This is so great to hear! Good Job. 20 years married, that’s so amazing. A new dish set is a great gift. A gift that keeps on giving.
I need to declutter my kitchen again. It’s ok it will be done. Thanks for the video, very motivational.
Yesssss

It definitely takes people some time to change their ways. Thankfully you saw an issue and you helped them fix it!

I've heard of it. I actually bought the Always Pan and I love it.
I absolutely love my collapsible colander from Oxo
I love the oxo version🤍
I just moved and decluttered my kitchen utensils, Tupperware, and my mugs. I let myself keep 8 mugs (which is probably still too many for someone who doesn’t drink coffee 🤣🤣🤣).
Maybe a little too much but if you love them and have space for it, by all means, keep them.

Ooo! Where can I find the sliding shelf you used for your pots and pans please??
You can find them at the container store. I added the link in the description box below! Thanks for watching!

I hear ya! Those mugs can be so difficult to let go of 😩
LOVE + needed this!! Thank you.
You’re so welcome!!

Those gadgets always draw us end but never deliver😔

If you buy pyrex you can reorder the only lid. It's. Cheaper than replacing the entire container
Nice to know. Thank you!
Awesome! So needed this. Where do I get those bag clips? Those look much better than what I struggle with. Love your channel!
Happy to help! They're pretty awesome. I've added the link to the description box below.

Thank you so much just right on time
You’re so welcome, Marvia!!
I place my mug handles to the left too 😆
It's a must!
Do you know where to get kitchen drawer organizers at a good price??
I'm in the kitchen right now...about to get to work.
You go girl!!! You got this.
I've decluttered my kitchen so many times. Would love to down size more. It's still overwhelming and cluttery.

@@juditheorganizer thank you
Good job
Thank you, Love!
...and might I add get rid of those red stained bowls and plastic ware and get glassware.
Them pots are done 😂😫
Hey leave them alone 🤣🤣🤣. I know they’re done. I showed my fiancé your comment and he busted out laughing.
You can donate or give away some of the items that look fine to use again but just not you for others just make sure to clean it!
That’s what I always do!
Please be safe with your cookware. Why keep those that aren’t like new? What are you truly eating? Paint? Teflon? Second hand stores and a dishwasher can create a brand new and healthy on a budget.
Discard all pots and pans that have the non stick costing peeling off. The coating is toxic and you don't want that in your food.
Yes ma’am you’re so right. They’ve been thrown away!
I need to know the name of your plates. I'm looking for that exact style preferably in grey, but I'm struggling to JUST find the plates. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Of course. They are from cb2 and they’re the frank dinner plates.
@@juditheorganizer you are a life saver lol. Thank you!
@@Prncssdrake you’re so welcome!!! Lol
