He funded a multi billion dollar medical research institute that has worked every day for many decades to extend your life. He held many patents in the early days of jet aircraft that contributed to allowing you to fly today instead of swim across the Atlantic. He invented an electrical hospital bed to let you be comfortable when you're recovering in a burn unit. What have YOU done for us?
Remarkable in his younger years and a nut case in his latter years, his nails were inches long told by some when he was living in Vegas, his money went to the CIA! Nikola Tesla made this guy look like an amateur, Tesla was the greatest man in the last 2000 years after the 12 apostles!
+dennis ralph there was a guy who stayed with him till he died who was in the CIA, their known to steal money and finance their black opp's, like the gold at the bottom floors of the Twin Towers.
Tom D His finger nails were not inches long that's a myth perpetuated by the Irving false biography and others who read it. There is simply no credible evidence of that even from the autopsy report. Secondly he did have a mental illness regarding germ phobia and some serious drug dependency problems but he was far from a nutcase. In fact quite the opposite. Even despite his severe phobia he managed to keep tight control over his vast business empire by phone and hand written notes to trusted representatives which is quite remarkable really. He was at that time still a major employer and defence industry contractor to the United States government.
Same old story... too much money, not enough judgment, not knowing the value of money, for example with hard work or just a job makes money like meaningless pieces of paper that seem to give you everything and more in life. In the end life gives it all back to you...
I heard a strange story concerning TIME TRAVEL . The story teller said Howard Hughes and the CIA working together had built not just 1 but a few different ways of Time Travel by 1970. He also said Howard Hughes didn't die in 1976 but in 2001 which would have made him 96 yrs. old!. He also said that in his travels back in time he bumped into Barrack Obama in 1980 who was on his own trip through time while he was looking for a kid named OSAMA BINLADEN.. I don't know what to think about that!!
That's very interesting , I do remember seeing a picture of him with his long finger nails and long hair , while wearing an oxygen mask, I suppose he was used to bossing lots of people around, to get what he wanted, but he must have known he was not the force of old, respect to the man for his self made millions,
How would you know ?. I 'm a self made wealthy man , but I do not wish to announce it to the world, & I know when my time comes, my money will not help me, It will Possibly continue to work through 3rd parties, but not for me.
Howard Hughes was a physically broken man after he crashed and needed pain medication and he had brain damage from bouncing it around in the cockpits of shaking planes (of all types and speeds). Could you be anymore insensitive?

That isn't a photo of Howard. It's a photo of one of his doctors. The last known photo of Howard was taken in 1973 when he went flying for the last time. Jack Real stuck a newspaper in front of his face, so all you get to see is from the neck down.
This guy was Howard.
Let's call it what it was Howard Hughes became a very serious drug addict
Bruh he died from a stroke not drug abuse🤦🏽♂️
@@JuanCarlosElrey well its a good thing drugs never play a role with those
Clickbait ... the thumbnail photo is NOT HH ... it is a photo of another man whom the internet 'claimed' was HH but with no substantiation and proven to not be him.
and thats back when 152 millions dollars was 152 million dollars
He was not reckless or even a mad man he had OCD severely how I do back then they was no medicine or help how there is help and meds to help cope with OCD there is no cure it's a brain disease it either comes from genetics or trauma of some kind
You people have no idea what you are talking about. He was, and is.
I have no sympathy for him after hearing that he deceived that poor young woman into "marrying" him, taking her virginity, throwing the log into the water to destroy the record of it and then leaving her like used up garbage. Can you imagine the devastation and mental anguish that must have caused HER? He was a brilliant man but a horrible human being! Sorry but I just can't put this guy on a pedestal.
S. Cole: Marriages are recorded. Tossing the log would not have voided the marriage. She surely knew where they were married.
LOL. Maybe (eventually pretty certain) Howie was a nice ZEN master for primitive calculating (money and power hungry) women. Didn´t you know that BUDDHA never initiated women ? Guess why . . .
It didn't hurt Dr Jacimzyk's (sp) career being on this case.
"He's had his minute. Roll 'em!"
Wait, did he say AIDS? They knew about AIDS in 1976?
sounded more like age played a factor
@@RyanManke he died from a stroke
is that the real Howard Hughes (thumbnail)???
Here's an article about that photo.

No, it was one of his doctors.
You can tell by the ears alone that its not the same person. The picture on the left is one of the doctors that illegally supplied Hughes codeine.
Sad Hughes Airwest is not around anymore the great yellow banana DC9s to Vegas from Phoenix every 20mins for 30 bucks.
Of course he found no fault his prescription killed him ... Renal failure what ever
The autopsy doctor had a stiff upper lip
Why didn't the killing Doctor put Howard Hughes on Dialysis? It was invented in 1943!
What did he do good for us? Definitely a cool dude when younger.
@@Marcel_Audubonreal question is what have YOU done for us ???
@@darionblue5513 whomever YOU are, I hope the answer is absolutely nothing!!
Remarkable in his younger years and a nut case in his latter years, his nails were inches long told by some when he was living in Vegas, his money went to the CIA! Nikola Tesla made this guy look like an amateur, Tesla was the greatest man in the last 2000 years after the 12 apostles!
Tom D . I got all his Money
WTF does ANY of this have to do with the clip???
Bro the CIA and FBI wanted him dead, the media were vultures even then u got twisted u fucking nobody
They were all lying, abusing him, robbing him... his lawyer & doctor should have been held responsible- They STARVED him and abused him, no doubt-
No one can buy kidneys ....even a billionair man.
Same old story... too much money, not enough judgment, not knowing the value of money, for example with hard work or just a job makes money like meaningless pieces of paper that seem to give you everything and more in life. In the end life gives it all back to you...
He's Dead?
Yes, 47 years.
Omg.
This doctor don't know what to say
So you can say Donald Trump is a modern day Howard Hughes
Not hardly

You cannot bring your wealth. In the after life.😑
I heard a strange story concerning TIME TRAVEL .
Dont believe story tellers

The way of the future, the way of the future, the way of the future...
What is all the fuss about, ? So he died a billionaire, he is just like the rest of mankind, he died and his money was worthless.
his moeny is still working, unlike yourself
I see you have never heard of Howard Hughes Medical Institute .... and you think physicians are witch doctors.
STUPID, HE WAS A HISTORICAL PLANE INVENTOR
I saw xrays of his arms after he died & they were full of broken needles.
Howard Hughes was a physically broken man after he crashed and needed pain medication and he had brain damage from bouncing it around in the cockpits of shaking planes (of all types and speeds).
Could you be anymore insensitive?
@@rinalore9416 yes i could be much more insensitive but i don't want to disturb your delicate sensibilities more than i have already.
