- Welcome to my whisky diary for march 2021!
Been a great month for new whiskies, virtual festivals and zoom tastings.
This months featured whiskies are :-
Mackmyra Jaktlycka and Bjorksav (this being the latest special release)
A Bunnahabhain tasting with The London Whisky Club (Manzanilla for the win)
A Glenburgie Tasting with Sussex Whisky Appreciation Group (a Chivas workhorse distillery)
The Summerton whisky club virtual festival with Filey Bay, Deanston, Cotwolds, Glasgow distillery and Silkie. (some great snacks too!)
Rounded all off with Makers 46, a good higher proof wheated bourbon

Been told that Jacktlyka is pronounced as "Yak Licker" wherever that is correct or not 🤣. Great hearing your thoughts on Summerton drams, for me I found the flagship as my favourite but the price is a bit too steep. Great month Chris.
