@@user-ge8wp1rs3v I respectfully disagree… I think PG right now is still a great player, but he doesn’t have the same first step and he’s not playing downhill as much as he use to

@@thekidshere6955 Those factors make biggest difference from him being a superstar first option level player to all nba level second option player. He's still a great player tho.

@@thekidshere6955I agree with the other guy too. I’m a huge PG fan but that was def his peak year. I also understand where you are coming from, I don’t think he’s a worse player now than he was then at all. He just hadn’t needed to be at that level in LA and when he did when kawaii was hurt, you could see the physical downgrade in his speed etc.

PG is the smoothest player in the nba hands down

  • @tommartyn524
    @tommartyn524 26 дней назад +17

The biggest issue with pg is his playoff performances. Unfortunately he has too many playoff dropper moments. That’s why I’m not high on him anymore. He’s a regular season merchant. Those are the worst kinds of players. Play well in the regular season to secure the bag. If you can’t play well in the postseason then you’re kinda useless

pg from 2014 to 2019 playoffs
      25.0 pts
      7.6 reb
      4.0 ast
      58.0 TS% (+3.0 rTS)
pg from 2014 to 2019 regular season
      23.4 pts
      6.8 Reb
      3.6 ast
      57.0 TS%
So from 2014-19 he statistically got better in the playoffs
This also doesn’t even include 2021 where he averaged 27 points on relatively the same efficiency (58% ts in the playoffs vs 60% in the regular season)
Y’all love to use the playoff dropper thing to discredit players when most of them don’t even get worse in the playoffs meanwhile you ignore everything else what a dumb take 😂😂😂

@@alxx292 you know darn well that averages can be skewed. I always use Booker against the wolves averages last year as an example. Last year Booker averaged 27 ppg on 47% shooting.
