The first time i saw Ricky Gervais was on a show called the 11 o'clock show on channel 4. Ricky took the place of Sacha baron cohen who played Ali G. They just had about 5 minutes on each show, but the 11 o'clock kick started the careers of both Ricky Gervais and Sacha baron cohen. Which gave us the office, extras, Ali G, borat.

I'm not sure how I feel about this show, on one hand I think that Ricky is a shining blessed beacon of non PC in this nanny state day and age, but on the other hand I have an over weight mother that eats 3 healty meals per day, but her medication has caused her to put on weight.
