Tony gets "killed", comes back looking for revenge while playing an antihero character. Jack Bauer gets infected with a form of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease just like Batman did in Arkham Knight.

The only thing I’m confused about is how was Alan Wilson involved in the events of season 5? I thought Jack’s brother and father were? Am I missing something?
1: Jack's arc in season 8 is what Tony's arc in this season should have been instead of the mess we received. 2: That ridiculous twist at the end that Wilson was the real mastermind of Season 5 and the whole "Michelle was pregnant" bull to try and justify Tony's turn even though that just makes it even dumber coming from his whole "I can't kill Henderson because I still have a conscience" scene... absolute lowest point of the series, no contest. Now this is the result you get when you try take someone's shitty fanfiction and try to pass it off as an actual episode of your series.
