They had a trimotor at the kttd airport I used to instruct at. They would bring it out and fly it from time to time, very cool.

I remember my Grandparents taking me to the Smithsonian when I was a very small boy. I was facinated with the airplane...almost as much as I was smitten with the Mercury capsule they had on display. This one has a special place in my heart.
