2x4 is dual channel=better, but better to get 2*8 or either 8+4 then rather than waste two slots with 4 gb modules.

@@ansh2938 many say that this is important only for games but the ram is one of core things so i think maybe a little difference it will give if you could put 2 sticks of ram also in terms of upgrade ability it’s better say you buy laptop with one stick of ram you understand that dual channel is better but also you want to expand your ram so you don’t need to sell preinstalled stick but just buy another one which is compatible, up to you choice in size, yes, 2 same sticks are the best but the margin is neglible and still massively better than single channel.

Using a USB drive you can install Windows from scratch, cloning was not done here at all.
