Sepp helped Primoz win the Giro and he helped Jonas win the TdF. I think Primoz and Jonas are planning to help carry Sepp as a thank you for his efforts and get TJV the sweep.
Marfa Lights are real! I have seen them several times. You don't have to go out to the viewing station to see them. I have a great house in 22 miles away from Marfa in Fort Davis and wish I could get there more often from Houston (home of Neilson Powless). When I was in Fort Davis the first week of August, I saw the StarLink satellites after they had just been deployed. Now that is something to see as well.
I've been rooting for JV to sweep the podium since they announced that both Jonas and Primoz would be there. The Durango Kid's performance, both on this Vuelta and in THREE Grand Tours in a calendar year, has been a revelation. I hope he channels his inner Cannibal in the TT!! There's a lot of miles left, but I'm starting to get my broom ready!!😎😎
Go Sepp! This old Austinite is well aware of the Vuelta! And the Tour. And the Giro. Jumbo Visma is the most dominant team since Team Sky, and I'm glad Sepp is a leading member. Even Indurain was a secondary team member in the early 90s.
Lance - when you go to Egypt, the best way to visit the pyramids is not by car or tour bus. Find a riding stable and approach them from across the desert. My sister, whom we were visiting, arranged this for us and it was incredible. Have a great trip.
Even if Kuss loses 3 minutes, he will still be up there high in GC. And he is not a Pannekoeken climber. He is perhaps not going to win it, but he is still going to create a headache for Remco. Now he has to watch for 3 guys instead of 2 Jumbe boys, not to mention Mas and Ayuso who by the way looks good so far. Especially Ayuso. Who knows if he doesn't win, he has a chance to be on the podium too. It's a win-win situation for JV. Dream scenario. As far as the Vuelta decision, the riders said that the uphill climb was slippery. Watching how close the GC rider is, they won't be riding like Kemnna. So I think the decision is justified. Don't get me wrong, I would rather see the GC riders ride all the way to the top because the climbing apparently is a lot harder than on paper, so I can imagine the fight between the GC. But I also want all GC riders to stay upright to fight on Toumalet and Angliru. The only criticism for me is the finish line should be on the big banner of 2km, instead of a guy with a yellow flag with a tiny gazebo so everyone can see it.
Sepp has been a loyal teammate and has been instrumental in helping Roglic and Jonas to TDF and Giro victories. I hope they return the favor to help Sepp with this unique opportunity to add to his palmares. The two GC winners can afford to help Sepp..
I think Johan is way too dismissive of Ayuso. He‘s had a lighter season and more time to prepare for the race, and as far as I can tell he hasn‘t really been put into the red. The first week‘s stages don’t suit him as well as the next two weeks do, so as far as I can tell he‘s looking good and is in a good position. He can also ride a damned fast TT. Also, UAE now also has three guys that are up there in the GC at the moment. Maybe Almeida and Soler aren‘t quite at the same level as the #2 and #3 on Jumbo, but they are good enough that UAE can counter them and can cause problems with three riders. If Vine was still in the race, I‘d be tempted to say UAE are the favorites.
You would think that winning the Vuelta last year gave Soudal Quickstep the learning experience but I still see a lot of little 'mistakes' that add up in the end. I also sometimes wonder if they looked at the Tour this year. They are doing about the same as Tadej did this summer. Yes, it could be a form of panic. You have to know that there was serious illness going around the team in the first part of the week and then Remco also made a perfect salto mortale when he hit that poor lady. So he must have at least a mild concussion. People tend to forget that these guys are not super-soldiers or navy seals. I think we should also count in that Remco is still quite young and did miss almost a whole season due to his crash in Lombardia. I would be positively amazed if he wins this Vuelta.
Thank you Johan for sticking up for my guy Remco. But agree Quickstep have to be smarter cause they’re not anywhere near the skill of Jumbo. Still want Sepp to do well. Just hope Remco can do well and let the chips fall where they may.
Am i alone in thinking that Evenepoel is holding his own surprisingly well against the Jumbo-Visma juggernaut ? (with the exception of that facepalm moment in stage 6 ... and even then: it could have ended much worse).
love your pdc's, but, such crap products from your sponsors. keep looking for new sponsors Lance..because you and your guests are second to none in knowledge and experience....period.
I'm watching the Vuelta, but not a great start so far. I was really looking forward to watching TTT, but them riding in wet and dark conditions was a disappointment. Definitely cheering Sepp. But counter to Lance's point that no one in the US is watching... 1. Yes, first weekend of college football doesn't help 2. If the riders aren't into it, and we are missing many of the most exciting riders, they are putting out a product that is not up to its full potential. I get that riders are exhausted by the end of the season, but it lacks the same energy of other grand tours and classics.
i have no idea but if JV wins the tt and/or the vuelta its going to be hilarious. none of the talking heads ever cheers for that guy or gives him any cred until after the fact. what gives?
We're most likely looking at a very big doping case. For me it's not a guess anymore. All those recent crazy performances are Jumbo's solely. Their best competitors break and can't answer what Jumbos are doing. You said it yourself, more than 1 grand tour in a year is crazy. They have 3 riders crushing 2+ grand tours per year.
Chill out, I'm a Pogi fan and I'm not accusing Jumbo of doping. But we always get doping accusations when a rider or team are especially strong. Heaven knows Pogi got accused of all sorts in 2020.
It goes to show how superficial the American psyche is if they think the Tour de Tourist is the greatest bike race in the world. It’s my LEAST favourite race of the year.
He doesn't need to do anything beyond what he already does: develop his immense talent. We need champions with charisma and a personality that stands out. Thank God, he has those.
I have a serious question .. .does anyone really listen to anything Lance Armstrong has to say about cycling. He is probably the worst thing to happen to our sport ever, I don't understand how any real cyclist would want his opinion on anything.
Was hoping for a Jonas 95% TDF fit but looks more like 90% and surviving, so the question is does he improve to 95% in second and third week or does he decline and make his way out of the GC ? Could him finding his TDF legs once or twice in mountains 🏔️ be enough? Or will Jumbo bet on Roglic and Sepp…
May Sepp race that time trial like he has wings!! 🦅👍🏻🚴🙏🇺🇸
Sepp helped Primoz win the Giro and he helped Jonas win the TdF. I think Primoz and Jonas are planning to help carry Sepp as a thank you for his efforts and get TJV the sweep.
Again another great show! Thank you gentlemen and Happy Labor Day🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks for La vuelta reviews keep it up 🤙🏼
Sepp doesn't suffer from "premature entitlement" and he doesn't have a chip on his shoulder -- he'll do fine.
You didn’t listen to Johann, tomarrow Ayuso takes Red.
@@uberkloden everyone can dream..
Leading the Vuelta and chugging like that...the guy is and American treasure. Go Sepp!!
I need more Lance and George! For the best entertainment. 🎉🎉

GeeeeeCeeeeKUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSS
Great show. I do think they are using Sepp to try and wear down Remco.
Thanks guys always the best podcast , much appreciated from uk

Been following Sepp since he was at CU go buffs!!! He's different also bc he graduated from college and went all in on the road after graduation
Great round up guys. Super to see Lance back too.
Great show guys!
Go Sepp!
Yup, saw the Marfa Lights iin ‘96! Crazy!
Go Sepp! This old Austinite is well aware of the Vuelta! And the Tour. And the Giro. Jumbo Visma is the most dominant team since Team Sky, and I'm glad Sepp is a leading member. Even Indurain was a secondary team member in the early 90s.

Pannekoek is not an adjective and yes: Hij is geen pannekoek als het op klimmen aankomt. GTIY. ;-)
Come on Sepp!! This is your time brother ✊
What was the problem with Jalabert in La Vuelta?? Didnt understand... hope Sepp wins💪💪💪
3rd GT this year and Kuss is putiing in this performance, matching a fresh Roglic. This team is clearly doping
Carry'n on! My thanks.
They say kuss treats the TT as a rest day, so nobody knows how he'll do when it counts.
Sepp has been a loyal teammate and has been instrumental in helping Roglic and Jonas to TDF and Giro victories. I hope they return the favor to help Sepp with this unique opportunity to add to his palmares. The two GC winners can afford to help Sepp..
The guy shaking the yellow flag for the GC times was Escartin.
Bravo Sepp enjoy the ride
I do have a huge framed poster of Remco on my wall. Lol
I think Johan is way too dismissive of Ayuso. He‘s had a lighter season and more time to prepare for the race, and as far as I can tell he hasn‘t really been put into the red. Ayuso will surprise the TT.
Jay vine would’ve made them able to challenge TJV. There’s no world where they are equal
Lance dont do that Egypt due to very bad stomach.

George doesn’t look his normal happy self!
Great review of American cycling 🎉🎉✌️
Am i alone in thinking that Evenepoel is holding his own surprisingly well against the Jumbo-Visma juggernaut ? (with the exception of that facepalm moment in stage 6 ... and even then: it could have ended much worse).
It wasn't an uphill finish... Also all the riders agreed with the decision... It's just the journalist and commentators who disagreed.
Has a team won all three big tours with three different riders in the same year?
😎🚴🔥💪👏👏👏#themove #ciclismo
What's on GC's left arm? 29:34
You are wrong Johann. Roglic has quite some time gained on 2km, look at aero shot, but then they have taken the time at 2.6km to go @wedu
love your pdc's, but, such crap products from your sponsors. keep looking for new sponsors Lance..because you and your guests are second to none in knowledge and experience....period.
can somebody get the Italians to work something out with Peacock so we can see the Giro in America without worrying about a VPN?
You don't need to bother with the Giro as it is the weakest and worst Grand Tour.
@@РуменДоспатлиевThanks for nothing.
Starting to rethink the move back to Austin from Aspen now?
Damn! George now has Bruneel saying Roglick instead of Roglitch ....
Lance, you need to talk to the young man👍
Jumbo-Visma is figuring out how to take the whole podium. Any permutation of the three amazing cyclists works.
Sepp was 15th in the tour…
He would’ve been top 10 if he didn’t crash towards the end
I'm watching the Vuelta, but not a great start so far. I was really looking forward to watching TTT, but them riding in wet and dark conditions was a disappointment.

Kuss even with remco after tomorrow
Say his name his name is Chris Horner.
i have no idea but if JV wins the tt and/or the vuelta its going to be hilarious. none of the talking heads ever cheers for that guy or gives him any cred until after the fact. what gives?
Well it is Sepp's third grand tour this year, maybe he needs the alcohol to stay sane a bit ;)
JB is the only one with decent internet? what?
Lance..better wo hat 😁
GC 💋
Does Remco need a better team ?
🤔
LA looks like my grandmother .
LOL! Have you seen what riders like Evenepoel and Pogacar did this year? If there will be any 'big doping case', these 2 riders will be included.
Pogacar fan spotted👆. Most nasty fans in cycling.
Chill out, I'm a Pogi fan and I'm not accusing Jumbo of doping. But we always get doping accusations when a rider or team are especially strong. Heaven knows Pogi got accused of all sorts in 2020.
It's not the heat it's the stupidity!
el cosmico, marfa......
It goes to show how superficial the American psyche is if they think the Tour de Tourist is the greatest bike race in the world.
It’s my LEAST favourite race of the year.
Sound off
Lol, the ventum doesn’t cost anything except the email that they tie back to all the personal information they’ve collected about you
Fu Lance
Sepp kuss will win this tour no one will take that much time off him
Its minutes over remco.
Marc Soler also has a great chance.
Soler does not have a great chance
Johan: (Je bedoeld alle dopinggebruikers waren toen in de top 10). You mean... all the dopers were then in top 10.... 😏
You new here? You just start watching cycling? They’re still all doping

girona is not wet
Lance, stop being a 12 year old and turn your hat around.
All about Remco…always other to be blamed for his failures…
He is for sure great athlete, but will need to work on is ego big time.
He doesn't need to do anything beyond what he already does: develop his immense talent. We need champions with charisma and a personality that stands out. Thank God, he has those.
Lance, quit butchering Jonas’ last name. Ving-Ga-Go.
I have a serious question .. .does anyone really listen to anything Lance Armstrong has to say about cycling. He is probably the worst thing to happen to our sport ever, I don't understand how any real cyclist would want his opinion on anything.
