When played at 1.5x or 2x speed several different parts of the piece sound like the item cycle sound in the Mario Kart games. Please tell me I'm not alone. 😂 More importantly, beautifully played! :)

It shares nothing in common with Joplin, or ragtime. Other then having rag in the name and being syncopated.

Very true, but in Billy and the band's defense... they're old! haha. I saw them perform a few times in the 90s and they were just about perfect.
