The hype on this team is huge , I just want them to beat the Titans first then go on from there
And stay injury free although that is tough .
Preseason is a good time for reps, imo.
If CW maintains his composure and humility, he will be a top 10 qb in this league. Right now, Bears are not a dark horse SB contender. Giv'em 5% chance to make playoffs and .01% chance making it to SB. They will be a fun team to watch...going to be more growing pains for Bears.
Maaan. Got a bad feeling about this year. Probably should have just built around Fields, have him a great o-line. Would have been cheaper and probably go farther.

Honestly, you’re either trolling everyone to get a reaction or you did not actually watch Justin Fields play. I’ll give you a reaction, Justin Fields is not an NFL quarterback, he should have done what Randel El did and switch to receiver and special teams and use his athleticism, he is not capable of reading defenses and making quick decisions in the passing game as Quarterback and he never has been able to, he made no improvement at all in that department in College or the pros, and give me a break about surrounding him with talent, he had loaded teams with the Buckeyes, lets not forget that Terry McLaurin was his 3rd receiver at OSU yet fields still held on to the ball too long and was indecisive almost always. I live in Cbus and watched every single game, I wish the kid the best but it certainly won’t come from him playing at Quarterback. The Bears are light years better moving on from him.
What’s up with the camera work in the shot close-ups of one guy, and distant shots of the other when he is speaking. Could it be the Andy Griffith haircut??
"Get better" means Caleb needs to improve to the NFL level. He needs to get in faster more accurate sync with his receivers. Caleb has never had a DJ Moore, or a Keenan Allen. Those guys are SUPER fast and experts at getting separation....but that separation does not last long against NFL defenses. So Caleb needs to pick it up a notch and nail those super tight windows. He needs to develop more power in his throws too.
Get better means the team is working on meshing lmao. Every team in the nfl is saying similar things rn. Its not about one person

I'm gonna hold schrock to that comment. They are NOT a top 10 defense with the DL they have in place now. I beg to differ. And I love hearing him say this because he is usually wrong.
If they get another edge then they are easily top 10
Counting on Sweat and Dex to breakout and become stars. If those two click, this defense will be top ten. Billings is a good NT, Walked is a solid end. Depth is the biggest concern with the DL, imo.
you're right. Bears defense only did good against back up quarterbacks last season. They played one good game against Goff and that's about it. I still can't get over Eberflus having Justin Jones drop back in coverage against a TE MULTIPLE TIMES 😂😂😂

@@joshbeck8796 No. I personally don't trust this defense against top 10 quarterbacks. The depth on the Dline is bothersome as well. I do think Gervan Dexter is taking a step in the right direction.

Is the Defensive line any worse than last year? No. We’re missing two vets who combined for 8.5 sacks. Replacing Jones for Dexter is a wash.. What did Yannick do last year? Pretty sure Booker can match that. At the end of the year the Bears were a top 5 defense. We should be that way without any crazy things happening.
Yes, but look at the trash offenses you played the last half of the year. Browns, Cardinals, Panthers, Falcons, Vikings. The only good offenses were the Lions twice and Green Bay

Poles in his third season. He has spent huge sums, and got truly lucky with the draft choices. Over the past two seasons the Bears have the 31st worst record. In Ryan pace's third season, the Bears went 12-4, and were it not for the missed short field goal they may have gotten to the Super Bowl. Pace accomplished this with Nagy at the helm, and Mitch Trubisky at QB.
To me, 12 wins is the minimum goal. Until then - just being realistic - Poles and Ebeflus are still considered "losers" by the rest of the league and the media...until the Bears win more games than they lose.

Wrong. The 12-4 was in Pace’s FOURTH season, not third. They went 11-34 his first 3 years as a GM. Poles is improving this team at a blistering pace. This team will be way better than last year’s. It really boils down to how fast can the offense gel. New coordinator, new offensive scheme, new QB, couple of new receivers, tight end and running back. The talent’s there, now it’s about chemistry.
