An angry driver tries to take banners from Just Stop Oil protesters blocking a road in central London.
The group are staging demonstrations, causing traffic disruption across the capital, in protest over 100 new oil and gas projects the government
has planned by 2025.

These were plastic plods unfortunately. It's the UK government's way of saving money training actual police. Liason officers and PCSOs don't have the same arrest rights as full police. They are about as useful as a pedestrian.

They're following orders. Currently the law is grey when it's protests because if arrestable technically they can enforce it for ALL protests. And protests are a part of democracy hence they're treading carefully.

It's part of democracy that started this whole idea. So to pass a law that arrests people who distrupt othes means every type of protest even "get rid of the Tories/government" they can arrest you like the old days which isnt democracy.
