Hi! Thank you so much for making these videos! As an incoming life science student they are really helpful. I was wondering if you could make a video about university essentials like what to buy and not. Or a video about places on campus like the best food and study places. Thanks!
I suggest chm199, I took it last winter and it was easy as hell, guaranteed A+ for showing up and putting somewhat of an effort on the minimal presentations. Also, the professor is amazing
I missed the priority control period for my prerequisite courses and now they are all full!!! The waitlists all have like 50+ people, what should I do? PLEASE HELP😢😢😢
Hi! If your courses are requirements for your program then you can contact the department directly :) Since you need them to graduate you should be able to get into the class
Hi Alessia! I'm intending to transfer over to Eng but don't want to cut off Life Sci as a pathway, what core courses do you suggest I should take for Life Sci? Also, coukd you explain what tutorials and practicald are? Do I need to enroll for each if im taking all 3 sci?
Hi! the core life science first year courses are: CHM135, CHM136, BIO120, BIO130, MAT135, MAT136. There are some others like physics, but it depends on the program! Although not all lifesci programs need all these classes, a lot of them are a variation or combination of them! Practicals for lifesci are labs, and tutorials really depend on the class (some have quizzes, some assignments, some just review). If your class has a pra or tut, you need to enrol in it! Hope this helps:)
@@alessiaisabella Thanks a bunch! Definitely helped :)), i also wanted to ask, have you heard or know of anyone who got in from Life Sci to Eng? Any idea what their GPA was?

can you suggest some first year seminars that have an easier workload?

Hi! I took 3 that had an easier workload! These were: SMC197, AST199, and PHY199
