I hope this vid was helpful :) Feel free to ask any questions regarding UofT or uni life! Good luck! Continue reading to see VERY USEFUL INFO!! . *I’m SO SAD I forgot to mention this in the video.. BUT!! I highly highly HIGHLY recommend you take a First Year Seminar Course!! I didn’t in first year because I thought it was lame and now I regret it SO much 😭 People always have a great experience and build long-lasting friendships through the course. You can only take it in first year and it’s a great fresh of air amid 100 level courses that have 500+ students* . FAQ (questions I got through dm): Q: Are the tutorials helpful?? A: A tutorial is typically a MANDATORY weekly meeting with a small group of students, led by a teaching assistant (TA). These sessions typically have quizzes or assignments that test understanding of class content so it's important to attend them! Make sure to enroll in a tutorial that fits your schedule well 😊
hahah u of Toronto is soo good! i love how u share all ur experience. this helps me alot when i choose classes for uni for Florida. u look so natural in front of the camera too make sure ur lighting is good thou. the drop and choose classes date is soo important!!!
Hey there Loved the video. I wanted to know if enrollment takes place before each semester or if you just enrol once for both courses that will be attended in the Fall and the summer.
Hey, glad to help! You should enrol for both the fall and winter semester at once but you'll have a chance to change your winter schedule until later in the year.
Heyy, very informative video! I’ll be going to utm, starting this September. I got into (hbsc) psychology too. May you help me with the courses please? I want to do 1 major (psyc) and 2 minors (haven’t decided any subject yet). Please help me out!
Hey Sayeda! Congratulations on getting into UTM! I'm not exactly sure what you'd like help with... First, I recommend going through the Programs of Study (1:49) to see what minors you'd be interested in and then going through the Academic Calendar for your major and minors (2:11) to see which subjects are required for you to get in! I think everything important is well explained in the video so you should just follow those steps! Let me know if you have any specific questions! Best of luck 😘
Hi! I'm an international applicant who got accepted into U of T, and have recently started adding my courses to the planner. I'm not yet enrolled into them, however, because the enrollment dates are in July. 3 of my core courses for the program I'm doing are MAT135H5, MAT136H5, and MAT223H5. When I added them on the planner, there were issues found and it said that prerequisites are required, specifically a minimum number of courses from OSSALGEBRA&GEOMETRY 'High School Algebra'. Since I am not a Canadian, and have not done high school in Canada, how can I get myself enrolled into my courses? Oh and btw this video was so informative, thankyouu!
hey! i just got into uoft do you know around what time i’ll be able to enrol? i’m currently searching for courses and some of them i cant find. on the course finder i can only see courses for S2022 so far nothing for Fall 2022. Do you know when they’ll show up?
Hey I'm a newly admitted student at U of T. I'm considering minoring French. Will I be fluent at the end of the program or should I take French classes outside U of T?
Hey! Congrats on getting into UofT! It's really upto you and how much outside class work you put into it... but I highly doubt you'll be fluent from just minoring in French! It's only about 4.0 credits so you'll for sure need to do more on your own!
@@amari_bels Both French and cs are useful skills to learn so that really depends on what you enjoy and what you intend to do after graduating... I recommend taking a 1st year course for both and deciding afterwards!
