YA!!!! You are so welcome! I just saw your video on how you casted on!! Fantastic job! I'm so happy you were able to convert! I'm going to add a link to this video ( and the vanilla complete) for it!

Thank you! Watching your two videos, I am now making a toe-up sock on a Boye rectangular sock loom! Your clear instructions for the cast on make it easy to follow even on my rectangular loom. I’ve tried but wasn’t able to figure it out watching cast-on done on round looms.

Hi Erica, sorry for the naiveness, but when you said the friction can cause the yarn to felt, what does felt mean?

Most animal fibers, unless treated with a washing agent, will felt with friction(agitation) and warm water. In the case of socks it’s the agitation. Felting is when the the item “knot up” for a lack of a better word. They more or less stick to each other. The item will also shrink in size if water is involved. Have you ever made an amigurumi where you had to cut the eyes and nose from a wool like fabric? That fabric is felted. I hope that helps. If not I can definitely add it to my video to do list

Great video! When you talked about going all the way around when 2 loops are on the 'ends', is that when you start the heel or as you are finishing? Thank you

Finishing…. It helps to reduce the little holes that you get on the side of the socks
