- I flew the most amazing airplane...without any previous flying experience!!
I have always wanted to get into flying, but have not had the opportunity to experience general aviation. My first flight (other than a commercial airliner) just happened to be in the most interesting and badass plane I will probably ever have a chance to fly in.

I have spent a fare bit of time in that very plane when it was part of my family. I’m glad it has a good home. Thanks for posting the video.
Very cool!
Thanks for that! Awesome plane, I love the sound of the engines. I worked at Drake Field (Fayetteville, AR) in the late 1970s. A few of them would come in. They were flying freight, and were not in as good condition as this one.
That will be a lifetime memory!
Round Engines Rule !!
Im sorry but this model is just beautiful 👍
Want to listen to the engines..they'll tell you if somethings amiss with them
What is that annoying beeping during engine start? I never heard when I was flying Be-18s.
What was the minor issue? Would it have been major in the air?
One of the magnetos was out of time and it would make a small backfire during the mag check. We would have been ok in the air
why the music and not the glorious engines?????????????????????????????
I wish the audio was better, but you couldn’t really hear the engines. It sounded more like white noise
@@SectionElevenOutdoors ... Just be thankful for those Bose noise cancellers. I flew an 18 quite a bit in my younger days and my hearing suffered for the lack of good noise cancelling headsets.
@@SectionElevenOutdoors Music is awesome!
