Absolutely! The reaction time and feedback processing of Optimus are truly impressive. It can think and respond in just seconds, showcasing its advanced AI capabilities. This real-time interaction makes it feel incredibly human-like, and it’s exciting to think about how much more refined these abilities will become in the future. Watching a robot respond so quickly and accurately is mind-blowing and shows just how far technology has come!
I want one too! I don't care about its abilities to do chores, I'd buy one just to have it as a friend. I think a robot would be more trustworthy than a human. I'm fed up with being let down by humans 😞
It's freaky, I don't want one. BUT I do see benefits and it is rather amazing. Who knows, maybe a robot assistant when I get old would be helpful. What a time to be alive to see the things Elon has done.
From what I've read Optimus was being remote controlled by a human. If this is true I will be SO disappointed. Not that it wasn't interacting with people via its own AI, but that we are being deceived as to its current capabilities.
Haha WE understand your concern, but from what was presented at the event, there’s no strong evidence that Optimus was being remotely controlled. Tesla made it clear that Optimus was interacting with people in real time using its AI, answering random questions and performing tasks autonomously. Given how closely people were observing the robots at the event, any remote control would have been quickly noticed. Tesla’s goal is to showcase real progress, and based on the live demos, Optimus seems to be further along than many expected. It’s exciting to see how far it’s come!
@@TeslaCarWorld i've seen a few video of ai language models that use ums and ughs when thinking that make it seem more human, that paired with a humanoid model moving very smooth at times makes it easy to forget it's a robot. i think plenty people looked at the very obvious robotic parts over and over to remind themselves it wasn't a person in a suit.
It’s the most logical explanation. Robots don’t need only the AI in the cars, it’s on a completely other level. Total bs and a lot of people fall for it. Maybe it’s a good thing for investors, after all.
Ok so, remote operation is a good starting point. You can send these into areas too dangerous for humans. They can also perform tasks for the elderly remotely. That's all well and good. But most people want (and were led to believe) that these humanoid robots were autonomous. That is the real ground-breaking moment to be had here. So, as far as I can tell, you program the robots and they learn through AI. This is the demo we all want to see now. So that once the shackles are off, these robots then actually have a use. Right now, with all that expensive remote control gear. It's just a pipe-dream.
You are presenting FALSE information. Elon said this was a demo of Optimus to show its movements NOT talking. These robots were controlled remotely with a human operator and answer questions about the product. Even in your B-roll at 8:30 you show employees with motion suits and headsets to control the Optimus movement.
Bro, Elon is absolutely doing this on purpose. By making all this look like the most stereotypical bad sci-fi movie about robots possible. Yes the tech exists, but by going out of his way to make all this seem like the beginning of I, Robot is just Elon trolling...and admittedly it's funny as hell, but concerning at the same time 😂.
I think it's to get people used to how robots and humans will interact and make them less scary by controlling them via human. Obviously not long term goal
For the home i see it as having amazing potential when the price comes down. Especially for elderly companionship, household tasks and care such as medicine reminders etc. Also, security features such as monitoring access to the home and calling for assistance when detecting a medical emergency. For the workplace though I see a more challenging coexistence as I don't think unlimited numbers of robots could or should be allowed.
It’s disappointing that this video would misrepresent the fact that these robots were actually being controlled and operated remotely by humans. It was definitely impressive that the robots could move around and maintain balance. But their actions and vocal responses were nothing more than electronic puppets. There is too much misinformation online.
Keep seeing people saying this but can’t find anything legit, you have any links to the makers saying this bud? someone said the robot said it was being controlled by someone but can’t find the video 🫤
It's pretty obvious the voice is from some dude somewhere. Yeah, AI voices are getting realistic but I didn't buy that, plus apparently there's ones that say "Um" a lot, not sure why they would create AI's that would do that.
@@counterpunchboxing9164 maybe you misunderstood. I am saying that these robots were being controlled remotely by humans. There is a clip where the robot actually says he is assisted by a human.
Food, clean water, shelter, car, house, WIFE, music, coffee, smokes and anything else you can imagine. All these things will disappear when you no longer can provide value as an individual.

Absolutely! The reaction time and feedback processing of Optimus are truly impressive. It can think and respond in just seconds, showcasing its advanced AI capabilities. This real-time interaction makes it feel incredibly human-like, and it’s exciting to think about how much more refined these abilities will become in the future. Watching a robot respond so quickly and accurately is mind-blowing and shows just how far technology has come!
esse robô assusta nosso futuro 😅
I want Optimus so bad❤😭so smart and adorable I could finally have a friend :3😍
I want one too! I don't care about its abilities to do chores, I'd buy one just to have it as a friend. I think a robot would be more trustworthy than a human. I'm fed up with being let down by humans 😞
Buying one to work for other companies
Not good for the human race😢
Why do you say that?
Why? Articulate?
Agree factory jobs will be gone cause they rather pay 1 robot 20 grand vs 1 human 20-50 grand per year
Elon you are the single best person in the whole universe to me 😢 for making this, man you're so considerate, thank you!
Lmfao retail employees are slowly getting phased out. First self checkout, now robots who can stock shelves.

Wow Tesla has remotely controlled robots! This is old technology, he has just done his normal thing and "revamped" it.
I can't wait for the Gen 100 Jennifer Aniston Special Edition..
Shear deceit
It is a human
Thank you. ❤
I’ve seen this movie before… everyone died in the end

Ok so, remote operation is a good starting point. You can send these into areas too dangerous for humans. They can also perform tasks for the elderly remotely. That's all well and good. But most people want (and were led to believe) that these humanoid robots were autonomous. That is the real ground-breaking moment to be had here. So, as far as I can tell, you program the robots and they learn through AI. This is the demo we all want to see now. So that once the shackles are off, these robots then actually have a use. Right now, with all that expensive remote control gear. It's just a pipe-dream.
This may be ground-breaking for Tesla, but not for robotics. Boston Robotics already has products that do or are light year ahead of Tesla.
Until it goes bad
Very cool. I think they were assisted still for now, but even if so, there's still a vast market for VR controlled androids in dangerous environments.
You are presenting FALSE information. Elon said this was a demo of Optimus to show its movements NOT talking. These robots were controlled remotely with a human operator and answer questions about the product. Even in your B-roll at 8:30 you show employees with motion suits and headsets to control the Optimus movement.
You are correct & sadly people want to see & hear what they already want.
Still cool tho, it’s kind of like atom from real steel
Tesla's commitment to reducing costs for Optimus is admirable if they can deliver.
I don’t know.. Have you seen what AI can already do? The more you learn about AI the possibility becomes more realistic
@@MickelTay I understand bud but I haven’t seen the clip and nobody seems to be able to send a link to the clip
Once the technology reaches there, this things will make millions! Imagine if you could customize the robot to anything you wanted!

Exactly. Ppl are praising their own demise.

This is literally the start of a horror movie
Why are people ok with this?
They're really not scary until you think they're scary, they're actually useful when you think they're useful, so the Tesla humanoid robot will work the way you think about it.
