I was used to twirling my fingers because I did butterfly knife tricks so I kept twirling the chuk and itd mess up the rhythm xD
when the chain wraps your hand from the bottom up was really weird for me but I'm sure I got it now hahah

Looking for the clearest possible lesson on how to do continuous rolls in the same direction... an ongoing 'circle' more or less in a flat plane but not finger rolls. One way seems to be get in reverse grip and get the momentum to take it over your thumb (going clockwise in the right hand for example), but I can't get the catch after that to keep it going. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you for this. My master says there is no other form for nunchucks that we do, so I could go free style. Well he only taught us the basics: figure 8, triangle, underarm catch, around the neck, around the back, to the knee etc. so it's hard to look really cool with them so this will impress my fellow peers if my nunchucks are long enough to to the turn. Anyway thanks again!

It is 9 inches long. And the sticks are 10 inches which is ok. Can you please mention in your videos about the standard length of the sticks and chain. I like to know the measurements of your nunchaku. Thanks

I have a chained nunchuck and a non-chained nunchuck. I want to use the chained nunchuck when I wrist roll but I get pinched by the 'ana' and the 'kontoh'. I would guess that I should keep on practicing instead of finding obvious answers but what do I know

First move I learned. EVER. It took me literally 5 minutes to get it with my right hand. I stll can't do this move with my left hand, tho. I use a nunchaku made by myself, from an old wooden chair, and it has cord, not chains (I prefer cord for a lot of reasons). Now I need to learn the infinity loop with one hand... :)

Great video. I fucking love nunchucks. Are they practical in fighting though? I don't wanna put any style down but i am more focus on practicality at the moment. I currently practice the western boxing style but would love to practice some chucks. How do you think they far in practicality? thanks for your input in advance.
