Hi Ken,. I've been teaching Martial Arts for about 29 years. I've seen weapon forms change and evolve so much over the years. I really enjoy your videos because of the way you break things down and your explanation of your combinations. Great job...
I'd much rather learn nunchucks than playing with fidget spinners or cubes and shit
ken hill Thanks for your videos man, I just got back into handling nunchaku after 6 years with no practice and your videos really helped me get back into the flow of using them :)
Or balisongs. Lol. Thank you, Spy!
MrRolyat98 Karambit
I would make a nunchuck out of rubiks cubes
Kids this days played blocks on a computer screen. They have no motor function skills.

Dude you're such an amazing teacher, I love how you break everything down into steps and perform it slow enough to follow what is actually taking place, makes learning so much easier. I learned the figure 8 wrist roll in one night thanks to you, still horribly sloppy but I have much practicing to do. Thank you for the vidoes!
Yea he's really helping me out
i got my black belt 3 years ago and ended up leaving my dojo. found my nunchucks a few days ago and i made it part of my New Years resolution to learn the nunchucks. im using your videos to learn one new skill every day for 30 days and WOW it’s so helpful!! thank you :) ❤️❤️ I am currently on day 4! I will try to share it with you when I finish this challenge!

Dude respect
Im back after 3 months and this progression and teaching is great. Im gonna be a ninja in no time
Yeah, this is the one I got down last night pretty well. It was strange at first because I was dialed in for like a minute straight. First time ever doing something like this for so long without a slip-up. Woo!
+ken hill Sweet idea! I'll set up a good lighting area. Show some beginners progress!(and fails)haha.
Your videos helpt me starting to learn the nunchucks! Great tutorial! And also to brag a bit, I even surprised myself by learning the wrist rolls in under an hour! And after a couple of hours I'm doing them in high speed. So in your words I'm awsome haha. Keep up the good work!
You're so amazing brotha! Training on the nunchakus and you're the best at teaching! Thank you so much! I really appreciate you sharing your years of experience and knowledge!!!
This is arguably the best, most complex vid ever.should have been titled 'advanced nun chucko... I just stared nunchuk-ing today but this vid gives me an even higher standard than Bruce Lee...
this is actually the first spinie trick i learned, i do it on my hips to, side to side also... i do the 180 degrees a lot smaller when doing this.Ken Hill is aaaaawwweesome
Ken, u've always been one of my favorites. your showmanship exceeds ur skill which is undoubtedly no less. u certainly are an inspiration to a lot of people as of mine. I believe its not a time challenge issue rather, how good u become through practice and be one with this weapon. I wish I were as good as you are or I would have sent you some of my own practice videos. Long live stay well and keep rolling my friend !
Took me 3 days ... I hour each day....thankz bro
Thank you for explaining...it's an Art. Needs plenty of practice

I tought that i will never get that trick but now IT WORKS!!!
I got this in 5 minutes. Thanks for explaining it so well.
Hi Ken! I'm actually not sure how stumbled upon your videos now, but 3 weeks later having never spun a chuck in my life or had any experience in martial arts (I'm a musician in fact), I am doing figure 8 wrist rolls and more! Your style of teaching is awesome and I'm sure you reached your goal of 100 new spinners before that year was out, but aside from that you've given me an excellent new fulfilling hobby! Gratitude from Essex, England.
Lol just a few!
I am training for my ninjutsu classes I can't do it without your Nunchaku video
Nice. Your videos are awesome. You are just like my teacher. Pleese teach more about nanchaku. Thanks 😊

+ken hill (██||███████||██)=====(██||███████||██)
Which chapter is for positive to positive and negative to negative wrist rolls? Great videos by the way!
Wow! Awesome. I cannot wait to watch the other videos and get crackin' on my practice.
I think I am a little insane cause it just took 30 min to learn the first and soon i bill begin with the back to front. Thanks for making these videos cause I have nunchucks home but nobody learns me. It was hard learning on youtube but your videos helped a lot.
Oddly enough I was able to pick this move up very quick but I think my chain is not long enough. I noticed you have more links between your sticks.
Dude.... You are a beast.... I have not even looked at my Chucks in like, 10 or 15 yrs. Let alone spin them. Anyway, I blew the dust off of them and spun em' for a while. MAN I'M RUSTY! LoL! Glad You're on here!
Hey bro thank you, I learnt wrist rolls by your videos

Love you sir because of you we are able to make twist spins like brucelee
Thank u so much, I already learned this when I was 12 in the Kwon Do, I'm 28 now and I feel like messing around with nunchucks again and but I forgot the trick. This video allowed me to relearn it. Thank you💜
I self taught nunchucks long ago, starting to pick them up again and stumbled across this video. This video reminded me of all the terrible funny bone hits.. ewe..
99% of my painful mistakes were funnybone hits.. pretty much all caused by the move hes showing in this video.
Definitely the most useful nunchaku tutorial I have seen, just tried the normal wrist roll watching this video and it is working pretty well! Now I can have a great transition out of and into strikes!
I learnt in a few hours! You're awesome Ken!!!
Got it in hours ;) , the figure 8 is wobbly and asymmetrical though so I'll keep practicing.
Nice tutorial, very thorough explanations. Thanks!
this surprised me i got really good with nunchucks instantly i even created a move i call it the figure 8 backhand flip
I got nunchucks yesterday and im already doing all of this fancy stuff...

Is absolutely flawless.

Excellent instruction thanks mate.
Hello Kenn , my name is Gert and I live in Europe ( BELGIUM ) and without lying , I love ya tutorials about Nunchuks , I lear far more from you than I learn in my school where I do KUNG FU " Lai Fist Kung FU " , so THANKS a lot man for all the effort you put into ya video's to teach us. THANK . I'm beginning to get the hand of it and it makes me so happy , in the beginning I was struglingut now , after a while it goes like riding a bike , even tricks I see you teaching 1 time after a day or 4 I'm getting it. But I practice alot , every day after work and after Kung Fu class. THANKS MAN " GERT " !!!!!!!! YOU ARE TOP
I got it down
but then I thought I did it wrong, rewatched, didn't get it
kept trying to do it
I was used to twirling my fingers because I did butterfly knife tricks so I kept twirling the chuk and itd mess up the rhythm xD
when the chain wraps your hand from the bottom up was really weird for me but I'm sure I got it now hahah
This took me 15 min to learn this. Good teacher
You deserve so many more views. You have a fantastic attitude towards teaching, and always seem to be upbeat. This keeps the viewer's attention. BTW; you're teaching reminds me of CALVINNATION, I learned all of my Bailsong moves from him.
Hi Iam Zack from Malaysia..thanks for the tutorial...
Okey. .. Got my right hand flowing... Left is next.
Man I love this. 😄😄😄😄😄
Thank you. You are an awesome martial artist and you have great teaching skill. Nice video's!
Where can i purchase nunchucks to practice with?
This guy legit. We’re planning on doing a project soon together.
was wondering what kind of nunchucks your using in this video and were you can get them. please and thank you.
3:15 thank you for the lessons. I could do everything up until here (not as smooth as you... you are Bruce Lee reincarnated hehe). I practice all day. No drama. I've got to get that extra beat in..... but the next move.... behind your back.... can't wait to try that tomorrow!! Love the videos. Thank you Master.
Thank you learned wrist rolls by the time the video ended!
I'm new to chux and your videos are very helpful, so thank you for your time on uploading them. I'm still working on those wrist rolls, lol. I have wooden octagon with rope chux, so, will you be making a video doing a routine and comparing the speed of heavy chux and light weight chux? I know the speed differs but just to know how it looks like. Thanks!
Whenever swing my nunchucks I would always put the extra Beat in. It’s cool to know I’m not the only one who dose that
I've mastered this now, thanks so much bro ur vids are awesome!! :)
GOOD TECHNIQUES AND YOUR ON POINT THANKS MAN!!!💯💯💯✌✌✌
Its going better and better now, damaged my refridgerator, my walls my table etc. But my wrist roll doesnt seem like a propellor yet.
Ken hill you are the best teacher, I refuse to watch any other videos on nunchaku unless from u
Awesome video! Really helpful. Thanks!
Great job sir keep on sharing.
Looking for the clearest possible lesson on how to do continuous rolls in the same direction... an ongoing 'circle' more or less in a flat plane but not finger rolls. One way seems to be get in reverse grip and get the momentum to take it over your thumb (going clockwise in the right hand for example), but I can't get the catch after that to keep it going. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you for this. My master says there is no other form for nunchucks that we do, so I could go free style. Well he only taught us the basics: figure 8, triangle, underarm catch, around the neck, around the back, to the knee etc. so it's hard to look really cool with them so this will impress my fellow peers if my nunchucks are long enough to to the turn. Anyway thanks again!
Thanks I'll tell you but unfortunately we are on break Until January 5 and Wednesday is our only weapons day. It's hard to get there on a family schedule so I get there when I can and still dominate everyone! Lol.
Hi Ken... Your video is really helpful and for me. I have a question for you. I have a nunchaku and it is not good in my hands. The chain length is pretty bigger than usual I guess. It is 9 inches long. And the sticks are 10 inches which is ok. Can you please mention in your videos about the standard length of the sticks and chain. I like to know the measurements of your nunchaku. Thanks
ken hill thank you very much 😊
What a beast! ideal tutorial
Hey ken thank you so much for putting these videos up, You are the best teacher ever, I impressed all my friends with the tricks you taught me! But im having a major problem with this trick, I can do the front grip figure 8 wrist roll perfectly, and very fast, too, But once I get into the back grip, whenever I try rolling it back to a front grip, it allways comes back as a back grip!! How do I fix this?
i "mastered" it in about 2 hours. thanks so much for this great tutorial
PHENOMENAL NUCHAKU KEN, THANKYOU FOR THE UPLOAD HAPPY NEW YEAR, PEACE
Hey Ken thank you for the awesome videos and excellent instruction!! I'm getting back into the chucks after years away from it and it's a total blast! Question: where do you recommend buying them online? Keep up the good work you"ve got a new subscriber here
Hey what’s up recently got into nunchucks and learned the wrist roll with both hands in about 45 minutes however the reverse figure 8 is causing black eyes lol can you make another video on it
is it normal for chains and ball bearings to wear out or break? How long are they supposed to last? you know, average life?
Hey ken I'm practicing my nunchucks very well your my favorite teacher but once i feel I'm ready where can i buy my own flame chucks and what should i look out for if there are different types of flame chucks
Thanks again
please can you tell me the weight dimensions and also length of chain you are using aswell as nunchuck material ?? :) thankyou
What is your preferred chain length and stick diameter and length? thanks
I always end up in a back grip after my wrist rolls (on both sides). How do I go from back to front grip?
Thank you so much this really helps I got it with one hand now on to the next one 💪💪💪
I have a chained nunchuck and a non-chained nunchuck. I want to use the chained nunchuck when I wrist roll but I get pinched by the 'ana' and the 'kontoh'. I would guess that I should keep on practicing instead of finding obvious answers but what do I know
thanks man awsome and very useful
You are a nice nunchuck teacher
I JUST WATCHED THIS AND IT TOOK ME 3 MINS TO LEARN :D cheer man!!!
good job bro me 3 years
First move I learned. EVER. It took me literally 5 minutes to get it with my right hand. I stll can't do this move with my left hand, tho. I use a nunchaku made by myself, from an old wooden chair, and it has cord, not chains (I prefer cord for a lot of reasons). Now I need to learn the infinity loop with one hand... :)
Great video. I fucking love nunchucks. Are they practical in fighting though? I don't wanna put any style down but i am more focus on practicality at the moment. I currently practice the western boxing style but would love to practice some chucks. How do you think they far in practicality? thanks for your input in advance.
