I didn’t think it was possible that the nunchaku could be boring and tedious. Well done friend you proved me wrong.
theres lots off good teachers on youtube iv got to this point ruclips.net/video/QVhK-QGkvPo/видео.html
Lol
For the first 25 seconds I thought I was going to play a 90s video game. 🙄 bit of a long winded video but I picked a couple things up from it. Glad I stayed 👍🏼
I have made a few pairs of my own and like knowing the basics to hone the skills to make look dazzleling. I just enjoy swinging them, along with the full staff. Thanks for informative video!
Very good Robby, I like your relaxed flow. This will be of great interest to alot of people. Thank you for sharing.
+Michael Lorimer George Thank you Michael! Like the names says "A Beginners Guide". Everything is slow and detailed. Well, for the pure beginner... :o)

Whip Basics x
I did just start training after 42 years what a pleasure it is 🙏 with 57 yy☯️
Thanks for this beneficial tutorial. Waiting for other videos !
Thank you for your kind words, Sir. But this is not a tutorial - those are just a few samples from the DVD.
I love the art of nunchaku I can spend a whole day fucking myself up with them, it’s always worth it at the end of the day 😭😭
Hi, Thank you for doing a tutorial. A little bit about me. I'm 52, short and rather round. I used to do nunchucks when I was around 15. Many years ago.
I've just bought a set of foam nunchucks.
Question? Am I too old to learn? I also bought them to try and help lose weight off my arms ( as well as dieting of course).
Liz
You are probably too young. But never too old! You could start with 98, if you like. Practicing is never a question of age. It is only a question of spirit!
And it seems to me that you have the right spirit. So... Don't listen to anyone who says that you can't. Let me tell you: You can do what ever you want.
The learning speed is different. But the more you practice, the better your results will be. Just go on and show the world that you can do it.
And especially to yourself!
Good luck,
Robby
And maam as sir said it is not nunchucks, it is NUNCHAKU :p

Nunchaku Basics - Beginner Tutorial, Trailer & Samples!
Kind regards, Vladimir
I'm a Filipino martial arts trainee and I am moving up to intermediate lesson of chaku since the only skill that I didn't learn is the horizontal one finger spin. I don't have a spare chaku to use it as a double chaku so I just used my Arnis Sinawali, on the left hand and chaku in the right hand.
I love basics . This is the best nunchaku teacher
Thank you for the nice video. You are a very good teacher.
Out of Babylon Thank you, Sir.
The dubstep music part threw me a bit off. But the garden, the crocs, the whole presentation totally made up for it. I'm not even kidding. I liked it because it's different than every other video I've watched on that topic. You go, Sir.
Hallo Norbert 🙂 Vielen Dank für das liebe Kompliment!
nice tips and graceful teaching sir, respect you.....at this age also you are still skilled in Nunchaku.....very nice...
I've been doing karate and this is gonna be my weapon of choice. thanks for the nice video
+Jill Travis I say thank you for your post!
Hi

Excellent Robby, I'm looking forward to this :)
He spins those nuns pretty good
Thank you, Sir! 🙂
this guys good. he looks a harmless high school teacher, about to retire in his last year of teaching. but i bet he could beat up any robber or criminal with those with ease lol
for some reason i really like this guy. gettin me some NUNCHUCKS
That's cool :o)
the one with the crocs is the one that knows how this things work. id like to train that too but dont wanna hurt myself trying to learn new things xD can you output more videos please?
finaly a real tutoriol ,thank you sir
I thank You, Sir!
Wow, nice torturial. I will be using this for sure!
Anders Thank you, Sir - I'm happy you like it.
U explained very well . Can u plz tell me which is good for beginners wood or iron ? And 8 chain or 16 chain which one is the best plz tell me .
For the beginner - the softer, the better. If you have to choose between wood and iron...definitely wood. And the connection between the two elements. You can start by taking half the length of one of the sticks. Then you have to practice and see which length feels better for you. Just start slow and easy, okay? Don't try to be Bruce Lee or a mean fighting machine. Be a beginner.
SHASHI BHUSHAN SRIVASTAVA tbh I would say use the soft sponge ones till you feel confident 😂 otherwise u may end up with a lot of cuts and bruises 💯 this is a beautiful sport actually if used in the right way👍🏻
This mans really teachin me how to use nunchaku with crocs on..... a truly terrifying foe.
You should not be afraid of the shoes, man...
Whip Basics lol unless you get a pair of nuncrocu but those are only military issue.
How to choose nunchaku - which is best for biggener ? Being adult - is it ok to start with wood ?
For a beginner I'd recommend padded ones. Wood is okay, too, but the risk of injury is way higher.
Thanks for reply
You're welcome, Sir.
Started with ur tutorial...my first nunchaku...yesterday..Really helped me.Thanks for your time and sharing your skills to us.:)
I thank you very much for your comment. It makes me happy, when my tutorial is helpful. Again - thank you and all my best wishes for your training!
Robby
Is there a downloadable version, not disk?
Did people dislike this because it encouraged simple, basic stuff for beginners, instead of crazy ninja shit?
To be honest - I don't know. Everybody who is able to read (and to understand...) should see that it is called "A BEGINNERS Guide". Beginner. Not advanced. All those folks who disliked it, want to be Bruce Lee. They live in a dream world, where they are martial arts heroes. Well. I am not. I teach basics. Thank you for your comment, Sir. I appreciate it!
Because we have seen it all on the internet. We have seen really really good and technical nunchaku players doing such basic moves with much more fluidity, and teaching them with precise and concise words.
We think this guy is a fraud.
Superb and great explaining.
Excellent... Really great.. Thank you very much sir
Love your way of talking, great job!
Thank you! It's fun to see that some - like you - like my way to talk, while others think that I'm boring or talk too much :o)
I've always heard that you should start learning with your non-dominant hand because it will always be more awkward and that will give it a head start.
That depends. Some people yes, some people no. I mean - if you're completely insecure with your left hand it does not make too much sense. But it is absolutey mandatory to practice with both hands. Especially for the basics. You know, I'm only kind of ground school teacher up to third grade. For the fancy stuff, the swirling, killing and hitting... There are other great folks who can explain that. I - for my part - show the basics. The safe foundation, a lot of people simply forget about.
Thank you for the instruction. You have a good calm teaching style. Robert would smack you punk haters down in a calm "old school" fashion...
Pls also upload the next video . This is awesome
Depends what you want to do depends on how you hold it.
Great tutorial, Sir!
I thank you for your kind words!
Thanks you. I'm re training in order to teach my sons and I certainly appreciate this.
Should I use expensive or cheap
Hi sir....i want to have a question for Nunchaku...with that basic lessons , i m going to have the first step to learn alone that weapon...??? thanks !!!
Well... You can practice alone or with others. What ever you prefer.
You're welcome, Sir. Or - did I get your question wrong?
It's good for beginners.
If I didn't see him whipping the Nunchaku 6:43 I wouldn't have believed it. Does your training videos go beyond the basics?
For future reference mr WhipBasics: For some people including me, the background music only serves to annoy or irritate!
You mean - annoying like your comment...? :o)
Ur presentation is great.
good teaching sir thank you
I thank you for your comment, Sir!
I thank you for your kind comment!
Hi Robert, I ordered the video (made the payment through paypal) from your website a few hours back. I'm wondering how and when I'll get access to the video? I have a laptop which doesn't have any CD or DVD drive. But as long as it's a CD or DVD, I can still play it on a desktop computer and copy the files to play it on my laptop, right? Please clarify. regards,
Of course you can safe the DVDs on your HD - no problem, Sir!
Sir , as u know I am a beginner . I have bought wooden nunchaku . can u plz help me further to learn by uploading some more videos . Plz sir treat me as ur own student .
Legal, Nunchako é o meu brinquedinho preferido.
Is it possible to make digital download variant? I don't have blue-ray player or drive an don't want to buy on only for one disk.
Just one question... @1:06 What are thossseee?
i should buy nunchaku online or from my nearby shop?
you should make some the really easy to make
I would go to the shop. You can try them before you buy, right?
In case you wanted to say: "You should build the Nunchaku by yourself - it's really easy to make."... Then you are right.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching!

Sorry... We put so much work into the disc & the cover print. Only the BluRay. No Download.
Website shows only blu-ray box, no dvd.
Yeah, sorry - my bad. We only offer the BluRay. No one wanted the DVD - everybody was interested in the BluRay... So we discontinued the DVD. I apologize for the wrong info!
OK and how much long the chain should plz tell
Ush'd probably read wt I wrote, man. D'answre's r there.
Suggest me some more nunchaku tips. in fact I am a karate advance black belt holder so u think and suggest me as well as give me tips.
Dear Shashi, thank yor for your kind words. But I'm afraid I don't have the time to shoot videos all the time. Therefore I produced the "Nunchaku Basics" BluRay.
All the best,
Robby
Where can I buy the nunchaku you are using? I have a pair that are very heavy.
Just check any supplier who is selling nunchaku. But be warnded - the one I used in the video is very heavy!
Very helpful for beginners, thank's grandpa
Mate, that's the point.
sir,
when will I get the second video of nunchaku?
At the moment there are no plans for another video.
Damn daniel, back again and again in the black crocs
You don't like Crocs...? I think - and always tell the folks - that it's not important what clothes/shoes you're wearing.
It's all about to learn the proper technique and practice consistantly :o)
The crocs 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you Teacher i Will follow your Rules excelente👌.
BOIII dem the cleanest pair of crocs on dis side on the missisppi BOII

Good basics
This helped me alot
tnx ...to share..watching sir from phil..
Der sieht zwar sehr sympathisch aus ist er auch glaube Ich super klasse LG. Aus Duisburg norbert
I would rather be hit in the face by "NUNCHUKS" than to watch this guy for another second!!!!!
Lol I watched the whole thing. You didn't miss shit.
To each their own but for me the chain style is cumbersome and noisy, also they are slower than the nylon rope I use. I never could get why most people use chain.
Like I said, to each their own, just that the rope is so smooth and allows for better speed.
Yep. You are totally right. It is noisier and - most important - slower. So... This is called "Beginner Tutorial", right? BEGINNER. When you have children who start to learn driving a car - what would you like them to start with? A high power sports car or a slower and safe one? When I read your comment, I'm afraid you would give them the sports car. Before you learn to run, you should learn how to walk, safely. Same for the nunchaku. Before someone starts with the fast stuff, he should learn the basics. Safe and sound. Safe and slow. Right?
Yea, i just got my nuns like 2 days ago, ofc chained. I was little bit confused why arent they as fast as i see here on YT. Now i know why. But i am not complaining. I am happy and i think this speed is enough since i am new here x)
Where is your another tutorial video master ?
Best in world
Wow, his looks are deceptive. He is fast.

I wish all your videos were on RUclips 😭
I remember busting open my head with the nunchucks (nunchaku) in the late 70s.
That was your fault Bruce :-)
Something You Said that's not bruce Lee's fault
As good content. Thank you
I thank you, Sir!
Thank you you literally right
Where were you years ago when i started lol i would of saved few head bumps.i litterly learned watching kung fu movies by the time i Met my Master i already knew how to use them and katana. His son taught me the bow staff.
Not Nunchaks , Its called Nunchaku , and no chaks ...
Very important part. After that I think the crocs would be the next on the list .
Neo Linux has some one ever mispronounced your name, and claimed to be your best friend? Some find it irritating
so much fast please be slow motion
Much respect, I tip my hat
very good for beginners, I'm sure they'll be Bruce Lee'ing in no time
💦be water my friends💦
Hello!
beautiful thx
Again - thank you for your comment, Sir. And all the best to Austria 🙂
Ola vc tem exercícios lentos quero ver blz
nice numbering tech..
All these videos are the same, flat footed and squared off. Hands choked up on the chucks to make it easier to start spinning them. Not the way. Get in a fighting stance, chucks in rear hand with one Chuck under the arm, resting on the upper arm or down alongside your leg. Don’t choke up on it, you give up reach if you do. Don’t spin, flip or make unneeded movements with the chucks. Some of them require you loosening your grip and you risk dropping them or having them knocked or taken out of your hands. Learn the four types of strikes, full, glancing, wrapping and short and the proper way to recover. There are some grappling techniques with them but it’s not recommended for self defense, close in you risk losing control of them to your opponent and then you are one swing away from disaster. These are a distance striking weapon, the amount of reach they provide in a melee is deceptive and the less showy and demonstrative you are with them the better.
Nice teaching ... Sir!☺☺☺
Very good sir 👍
I like your video 😁😁😁
Thank you very much, Sir!
+Whip Basics you well come 😉
