That element cover material is called naugahyde. Its a water proof vynal mayerial on one side and a soft cotton like material on the other. We use the same material in the aircraft industry to cover up hoists that stay out in the weather. Should last about 8 years out in the elements. And yes that pun was intended.
Nice vid, probably not leather. Let's call it pleather at best. I would never use one , imo it's gonna fog your clear, better off doing mylar. Good job
