- An Uncivil Synopsis of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD! I was going to approach this as a straight review but then I decided that that would be a little too classy. One of my favorite games from my childhood.

The thing that gets me about this game that I never realized, is that Ganon sees a kid wearing a green tunic...and instead of realizing "Oh damn I should have killed that other Link when he was a kid and I had the chance, I should probably not make the same mistake with this one" he has the bird toss him
Well I guess he didn't get the Triforce of Wisdom for a reason...

This is my first Uncivil Synopsis, and I was going through all the Zelda game and the lores of it before diving into BOTW. All the narrators were pretty polished and I honestly took a break to laugh out loud at 'Link's sleeping like a lazy fuck!'. Time to explore the channel further.
That summary at the beginning made this game seem like the CRAZIEST fucking game ever lmao. I love it.
Just finished Windwaker HD on CEMU and watched this to get the whole story recap and this was fucking hilarious and on point. This deserves way more views.

I think the Zoras just can't survive in salt water. They always seems to live in lakes and rivers where fresh water would be, so that's probably why. When Hyrule flooded, their entire race likely became extinct.
I always thought that was a reason, but then the Great Bay in Majora's Mask is just in the ocean and they seem to live in that just fine.
HyperCharge The only explanation I would have for Majora's Mask is that Termina is an alternate world, so things may not exist in the same way as in Hyrule. It's the same with the gorons, who live in the snow and ice when they ordinarily live on warm mountains.
Or the oceans full of massive Zora eating dildos so thy couldn't go there... Never know.
Basically the Gods said *EVICTED* so they had to fuck off.
I think the Zoras just got killed off by all of the monsters lurking in and over the sea. Big Octos that can swallow giant fairies, their smaller but still massive brethren that spit bombs, the gigantic Peahats, the Helmaroc King, its smaller brethren, unpredictable and relentless purple sharks, and even pirates (possibly Gerudo).
The other possibility in my mind is that they lived on/around Greatfish Isle, but were wiped out when Ganondorf destroyed it.
Great video. I wanted a nice synopsis to remember the events of the game since I played it as a young teen. This was perfect.

Okami is an amazing game. It was made by most of the same people who now work at Platinum and I absolutely adore all of their games!
I have the GC to GBA adapter. I used the tingle tuner to remote bomb in the dungeon where you get the Mirror Shield. Broke that dungeon.
Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks were great games, especially Phantom Hourglass!

The wind waker is AWESOME
Spirit Tracks was a good game. Phantom Hourglass however is complete garbage.
I honestly never tried Spirit Tracks, but I don't thinks it would blow me away if I ever tried it
HyperCharge Oh it's nothing that would blow you away. But it does improve over all the things Phantom Hourglass failed at.
Plus Link and Zelda are both playable characters.

That Dramatization was way too good.
Back in the day you had plenty of time to explore all the world in a game because you didn't have access to a lot of gaming options like today (free/cheap games on pc). It made sense the wind waker was explore intensive and some times cryptic like the mother and child island part of the game. I never could find out how to get the fire and ice arrows until a friend of mine told me how.

My feedback in response to the exploration being a key component, I agree, and I love exploring in a game. But for me the thing with Windwaker was I didn't enjoy exploring in this game in particular. I found the open ocean not very visually engaging, it didn't make me curious in that "hey what's that over there" method other games mastered. But even more than that, something as simple as changing what direction you're moving was so tedious in this game since you had to play the song to change what way the wind was blowing, that it made me feel like I was being punished for wanting to go off the direct route and see what something out there was.
I think it could have been done better to make exploring more fun and less tedious, and at least for me, that would have helped things out a lot
I wouldn't mind seeing a retelling of wind Waker but in botw/totk style

Yeah, it's coming out in March. It takes me a while to make videos, but it's mostly just making the time to make them that takes a while. I usually try to make stuff on a month to month basis, but sometimes I get busy and it takes like a month and a half or two months.
