Next thing on the list for being self sufficient in the feed supply. Pick up a woodchipper, can feed banana trees, leaves and papaya leaves and trees, into it, add to the mix. Would advise making an covered area somewhere, sometime, so can use the mixer in the rainy season safely . I would imagine in a few months time hundreds of kgs a day of feed being produced. Might even consider, drying the azolla for sale, if enough is available. Consin, will be observing maybe, spread the word around, how good it is?! Lol
Great use of the mixer and if molasses is cheap maybe mixing a little molasses and malunggay for vitamins. I try to give my animals some and may start trying to grow Azola
I have started working different hours, really miss your live videos, it always kept me up on things in R.P.. I also have to check for videos that I have missed, just ran through fish pen fingerlings, and am now back to piggery ones, (azzola mix)
They are really going to town on that feed. You guys should rinse off some of the azolla and try it for yourselves. There is a family on RUclips that are dehydrating the stuff, it is on one of those opacolyst preppers videos. It is a food source that humans could survive on. It would be interesting to know what it tastes like.
It's great the pigs are loving the azolla. Do you make a slurry out of it with adding water? (Brian, at 13:37, I could swear that looked and sounded like Consing you were talking to, not Ippy .. you called her Ippy, but the camera didn't get a close enough shot at her for me to tell for sure .. maybe I just need stronger reading glasses). 😁
That’s a funny we shall see if the listen “use the wheelbarrow” probably not. I recall the fingerlings and so many other times selective hearing loss. Those foreigners don’t know lol
Brain, water fertilizer slow release bamboo sticks will save you water and time and plus a form of constant fertilization. It's work and my result has been quite profitable. Imagine, a bamboo stalk about three inches in diameter about four feet tall, one feet or less will be driven in the ground. At the half foot mark before driven in the ground will have small drill holes all around it. You can use coconut hair pack first into the stalk , six inches is prefer. Then fill according to what you may have. Such as a mixture of Caribou waste, pig waste, rice hull compost, egg shells and whole fish bits. Fill bamboo stalk to about four inches to top ,insert your standard water bottle in the top of the stalk with the bottom cut out. Tape to stalk . Brain your worker only need to past by and fill half of that bottle. Time saved, water saved, and manpower saved. If for some reason you should need more stability. Tatay can built a rail system made of metal somewhat like for a fence however no fence . Just a cord to support each stalk assembly.
The pigs love it because they think that you are treating them to banana leaves, don't let them know the truth because they still wouldn't believe you. lol
from the states to live there u dreaming nimal farm if u had so much money why u got 5 acres and a small homend heaps oink oink pigs and the family living there help u do all the work they have a great life relaxing when they can but proberly busy mixing and fixing u farm up so a farm allowed u name or u asawa name i think u can own it u name as its a business u wife pregnant also cool so amazing u gave u city life up to a place in a province but suppose u have freedom and those animals u alarm clock roosters bastards annoying i subsribe u channel its ok u have fun with your family why not learn the language so u can talk u brother in law
Enjoying this concept. Intend to start own pig farm in 🇿🇼 and this Azolla has been a revelation. Cheers for this.
My pleasure 😊
Yup me too! 😁
Awesome Brian another successful project now you are able to feed pigs worh azola.

Your labor and good Karma bearing fruit Brian! Congrats! 👍
Thanks for sharing👍
Love the cement mixer being use for pig food....well done sir
Thanks Floyd

Nice use of the cement mixer and catching it on the sacks works ok, because you can pick up the sack to get every last bit into a bucket
so glad its working hoping for even greater revelation to come and help out
It's going well indeed
Great job! Maybe if you ever get back to some sprouts too. Big bottom line boost!
Great work, that's azolla mixed with what?
Commercial feed or other cheap natural ingredients like tohop🤠
I have started working different hours, really miss your live videos, it always kept me up on things in R.P.. I also have to check for videos that I have missed, just ran through fish pen fingerlings, and am now back to piggery ones, (azzola mix)
Thanks for watching Bruce 😊
What is the proportion of azolla to commercial feed in this respect? This video has sharpened my mind

Will do 😊
Really smart using that concrete mixer for the feed. Those pigs really like the Azolla.
Thanks Lawrence 👍😀

I'm old, I might have mixed up the names...
Brian, FYI, Storm Brewing in the Pacific, Latest Track might hit Your Area....
I guess the mixer had a duel purpose which is good that way it's not just sitting there an they'll get a little cement on the diet
Tatay is the kitchen aid mixer operator lol .🇵🇭🇨🇦
How much% water is the wet duckweed? Seems like you'd need a LOT.
About 90% water content 🤠
I thought using a wheel barrow too! It looks like the azolla initiative is beginning to bear fruit. I wonder if your dogs would eat it in a mix too?
I doubt it...
Wow no problem at all, they took right to it.
Hi there Foreigner in the Philippines. I’m curious what are the weight ratios of your commercial feed to Azolla is for the fattening? Thanks
wet/weight ratio we used was 50/50
That’s a funny we shall see if the listen “use the wheelbarrow” probably not. I recall the fingerlings and so many other times selective hearing loss. Those foreigners don’t know lol
Bring use the cement mixer to mix the feed job done lol
If they love the azolla, they'll love the bilang-bikang weed even more.
If they have the time to harvest it, give it a try
What is bikang bikang weeds? Can I see a picture of it?
Good day sir are you still feeding azolla mix with feed to your sow

hi what is it u mixed with azolla
.. I LOVE THIS FEED MIXER - I MAKE PANCAKES THE SAME WAY , SALAMAT PO ...
The pigs love it because they think that you are treating them to banana leaves, don't let them know the truth because they still wouldn't believe you. lol
Good job
Do u give premix?
Azolla should dry before use as a pig feed????? Please help me
Don't forget the chickens too.
Chickens love Azolla too. Then you’ll have green eggs and ham.... 🤪😂😃 at least by the looks of that sow.
Yes they do👍
My chickens won't eat it. Any ideas?
Wait for them to get really hungry and mix it into their feed. They'll get used to it🤠
Gina is a great personality
Brian a great song for you and Maricel would be from the TV show Green Acres.. LOL
Using that cement mixer is genius. Who thought of that ? That's the biggest Kitchenaid mixer I ever saw.
Should see the industrial mixer use to mix dough at pizza joints.
I thought of it, but another subscriber also had the same idea
no sound in half of video
Richard, he was fast forwarding the video, that's why there was no sound.
WOW! New inro
Like it?
