    Can the azzolla be feed to the animals directly without adding to other feeds?

    • @KijaniFarmstead
      @KijaniFarmstead  23 дня назад

      Yes to can feed Azolla without mixing. We add other feeds especially during the introduction phase when the animals are new to Azolla

    Thanks great video. Do you add any phosphorus to your pond? Also how much slurry to add to a pond? Is there a guide to use for the size of your pond? Like a pond that is 4ft by 12ft? Thanks for your help…

      Thank you! We only use animal manure and no other elements. This is 4m by 2m so we used around 20kg manure...we keep adding in small bits over time. We are researching different optimal quantities - and we will share our journey in the neat future. Stay tuned

      @@KijaniFarmstead Thank you so much. I have some Azolla ponds and was using 0,22,0 fertilizer. Like 20 grams per 4ft X 12ft pond. I will try with none. Your videos are an inspiration. My wife and I have small farm in the Philippines. I was curious what country in which you reside. We have pigs and banana and would like to get chickens in the future. Take care!!!

    Hello, how can I get the seeds?

      Where are you from brother. I'll send you if you pay for package shipment. Or you can go to any azolla grower near you and ask him for a handful.. add some fertile soil & food source to a pond or tank with 6 to 12 inches of water and sprinkle azolla on top. Food source can be cowdung, cow manure or any other manure. Blood meal also gives amazing results. Depending on size of your pond you'll be able to harvest in 3 to 4 weeks. Keep adding fresh soil and food source every month and keep harvesting
